"Such a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind. The views are amazing, calming and the cherry trees in bloom were the cherry on top of the cake. Walks by the lake with views of Mount Fuji were so peaceful The rooms are comfortable, the bedding of good quality and the toilets are so good. "We stayed 3 nights on the top floor 10, labelled as premium floor. It has a great view of the ocean. Excellent condition of the property, it is thoroughly modernised and well maintained. Service quality is great. Very pleasant stay. You may not have convenient public transport. Should have a car. The restaurants in the property isn’t that great in my opinion. "

"The onsen experience was fantastic. It's a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff services. We like everything about the hotel. The only thing we didn’t like was the long walk uphill from the bus stop to the hotel. While the hotel offered shuttle pick up from the bus stop, this information was not made known to us. We wish we knew to call the hotel to pick us up. Dragging our large luggages up the hill for 30 minutes was quite a challenge. "

"We had an excellent relaxing visit in Hakone at the Prince Hotel. The Japanese bath is exceptionally beautiful, has an outdoor tub from which the sunrise over the mountains can be seen. We enjoyed the extensive breakfasts- don't pass them up. We don't golf or play tennis, but used this resort setting as a base for sightseeing and hiking the region's mountain trails."
