Parking ( ¥500 for the day and you could go in and out anytime) wasn’t free was a little disappointing as it is a little far from Hakodate downtown .. about 23 km . However if you do not like to be in the big city and do drive , it was an easy hotel to get to as it was next to the Shinkansen station. Somewhat isolated with open fields around .
The room was quite new , tastefully done and comfortable, ( superior twin beds .. very comfortable ) larger than downtown hotels and had a separate shower room but no bath tub but there was an Onsen bath on the second floor.
Breakfast, a Japanese style one was reasonable and tasty if you like that kind of breakfast with grilled fish , miso soup , sashimi, pickles and rice .. healthy one !
