Basically 2 small restaurants in same building of the La’gent, but ramen was satisfying. Cafe located inside Shin Hakodate station but closes early, in fact everywhere closes early, unlike larger cities…so plan accordingly! Take note, no shower cap & scrubby towel, be sure to pack your own!

The property is literally next door to the Sin Hakodate train station, awesome. We arrived early left our bags and went into Hakodate, when we returned our bags had been taken up to our room. Great friendly, happy service.

My husband and I stayed for one night an it is in an ideal location for people wishing to catch the bullet train south as it is almost attached to the Shin Hakodate Hokuto railway station. There isn't much to see in the area, so it's more of a stopover location, however it has a decent onsen with natural spring water. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the room was more spacious than I expected. It was very good value for the price and we were completely satisfied with our one night there.

Comfortable business and tourist hotel
Parking ( ¥500 for the day and you could go in and out anytime) wasn’t free was a little disappointing as it is a little far from Hakodate downtown .. about 23 km . However if you do not like to be in the big city and do drive , it was an easy hotel to get to as it was next to the Shinkansen station. Somewhat isolated with open fields around . The room was quite new , tastefully done and comfortable, ( superior twin beds .. very comfortable ) larger than downtown hotels and had a separate shower room but no bath tub but there was an Onsen bath on the second floor. Breakfast, a Japanese style one was reasonable and tasty if you like that kind of breakfast with grilled fish , miso soup , sashimi, pickles and rice .. healthy one !

Clean, Friendly Staff & Great Breakfast!
Clean and across from the JR Station was why we booked this stay, but we were so surprised that for the free breakfast since they knew we were Vegetarian that they out-did themselves with a beautiful and delicious special breakfast! Would love to stay again.

A south Hokkaido gem
Amazing breakfast buffet. You can taste freshness of ingredients. The variety from deep Japanese ryotei tradition food to more modern Japanese beef curry to wonderful vegan selections. Milk products are superb. Also, excellent coffee. Staff are all so professional yet approachable. The open air hot spring bath was an added bonus. Location is perfect for having JR Pass day trips to Hakodate, Sapporo, and all other places in between. Little pricy but it is well worth it.

My family of three was very pleased with our stay. Our room was spotlessly clean and quiet. The HVAC control interface display was easy to understand and use. The natural onsen bathing rooms were clean and the onsen baths were delightfully hot. Breakfast was included in our room rate and my spouse was very happy with the wide selection of both Japanese and Western breakfast items for her and our child. We selected this hotel because we decided to use our Japan Rail Passes for an overnight trip to Hokkaido and our hotel choice was an excellent one.

Wonderful!
The hotel was perfect for staying along the train line. I decided to cut my trip short in Sapporo and was able to make a last minute reservation here. Beautiful, new hotel. Within 2 min walk from train station. (Shin-Hakodate). I did read comments and made sure to get some food before 8 at the shops downstairs. They don’t stay open too late.
