The check-in process was smooth and staff are friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious, comfy and clean. Same for the shower/toilet - very spacious and clean. There is a basket of complimentary snacks in the room, also bottled water and if the water finishes within the day, there is a water dispenser in the corridor. We just spent 8 nights here over the xmas break. It's a fabulous hotel with great facilities. We particularly loved the beach view we had from our room balcony, where we chilled most evenings pre dinner. The location is great, there is an extensive breakfast buffet & the staff are super helpful & friendly. Highly recommend.

Staff are all friendly.. Place is clean & accommodative. Love the ambience.. the only thing for myself is the tv channel doesnt have much movie channels like eg HBO & all.. Spa quite expensive.. In all my travels around the world for years, this is the first hotel that i have experienced all the staff giving warm, hospitable smiles and greetings whenever you walk by them, irregardless of what their job is or they are doing. From the pick up at the airport to the time that we left, I really enjoyed the excellent service, facilities and hospitality in this classy beach resort hotel.

We had a great stay at the Pelangi. It was perfect for our family and young baby. She especially loved the splash pool and water slides which were perfect for children of all ages. The grounds are nicely laid out and relaxing. The service staff was extremely accommodating and made us feel very well taken care of. Would definitely return again in future.

Resort is very nice and has everything you need. The staff are exceptional and breakfast is great with lots of choices for their guests.

Let me be clear, Berjaya Langkawi Resort is not for everyone. It's not a resort with all 5-star amenities or shinning new decors or middle of city night life. This property is really one of its kind, nothing commercialised about it. My mom really enjoyed the scenery and how peaceful it is here, it’s great for a relaxing vacation to just take your mind off things back home. It is the definition of slow living here, and learning to appreciate and be in tune with the beautiful surroundings and unique heritage houses. Stayed at the Kutai room (number 1) and it was perfect size for couple (also includes a single bed too for a young child). The room is absolutely gorgeous and clean! You have to take off your shoes inside but this is what I usually do at home so it was not a problem. It is beautifully decorated and even has airconditioning! Love the rustic feel of the place. Staff were super helpful and nice. Room was very neat and outdoor seat area is great for relaxing. Good location 10 mins walk to the beach and eating places nearby. Highly recommended!
