"Front desk agents are not welcoming or helpful like I would expect from a hotel of that standing. They didn’t give adequate instruction about the daily cleaning or whether you had breakfast. The default was no room service unless you instruct it from their iPad although the door had a paper instructing to service the room. If the iPad determines the room service, why would they leave a door paper to use as well. The front agents were cold, gave minimal to no information about surroundings or help in transports even when asked. I would suggest more training in hospitality when they greet travelers on check-in and giving complete and clear instructions about the hotel and anything else that can help their guest stay."

"This hotel surprised me because the rooms were spacious compared to the one we stayed in Paris Eiffel Tower location. It’s newer and modern, clean and smells amazing. It’s is walking distance to restaurants, sights and shopping and the train station is a few steps away. We didn’t try the restaurant because we wanted to try the restaurants around the hotel. They use virtual concierge which was very efficient. I highly recommend this hotel."

"If you luck out with a Mountain view room then this place is priceless! The location is also great. Cheap and safe parking is across the street. The down town square is 10 min easy walk. The rooms and the whole hotel are dated. It feels like you are in 1940s. It has that authentic and traditional feel, oddly appropriate for being in the German Berchtesgaden area. The bedrooms and bathrooms are good and clean. If you enjoy an amazing view and drinks on the balcony then I suggest you come. Front desk staffer was helpful and multi lingual. A solid 6/10 hotel."
