After we completed to million mile march getting to the house we were feeling like pack mules that had just been herded across the desert. We did give it a cute name though “Jack The Ripper Prospect House”. Baby we was so deep in the hood I got to watch Fridays live out of the window.

After receiving the notification that the accomidation was booked i was dropped off in a dark and unwelcoming area. I knocked on the door rang the bell and knocked on womdows for 15 minutes before thinking of reporting this as a scam abd rebooking into another motel. Eventually a voice comes (i guess the management)over the intercom askimg me to log on. I had to use their wifi and pray my low battery on my phone held out and didn't die. I had to put photos of ID and bank account details into a wattsapp message?! I ended up getting a code for door. Had to see in the dark with no lights. Then i had to find my key? I asked the neighbours who were no help and luckily another person at the place showed me where to get the key and where the code was. Absolute joke. Wont be back.

The property is clean, it was a bit tricky to get in the door and we totally missed that we needed to check in again by showing our passport to the camera by the door. Kitchen: Great that there was cutlery and plates etc. There were no paper products to wipe anything off. The “dish towel” was a pillow case. The “sponge” that I assume was left for our use in the kitchen was obviously very old and used. I had to hunt through the cupboards to find the housekeeping cleaning products to replace it. No hand sanitizer or any other cleaner except dish soap. The bathroom: This,I feel, was NOT communicated in the hotel ad as being SHARED between 3 ( or more?) rooms. Had I been aware, I would NOT have booked this property. Also clean but no bath mat - a tile floor is slippery when wet. The tub is VERY high and difficult to “climb” into also there is nothing on the bottom of the tub which ,again, is slippery when wet. This could be a liability if there is an injury. The shower works fine when handheld but is impossible to use hands free as it slides down as soon as the water is changed from tub to shower. This means that water sprays EVERYWHERE and gets the floor wet. Again, a liability. Bedroom: Beds were clean Disappointing there is no media (TV, radio etc) of any kind but it was not promised. There are no hooks to hang clothing or towels anywhere. This was listed as a hotel but it was a converted residence on a housing estate. No private bathroom

Make it easier for one to get it, if out the country. Maybe leave WiFI free for someone who doesn’t have internet and can’t get ahold of you

The door to my room couldnt be locked from the inside. As its a house with multiple occupancy, i felt very uncomfortable and ended up pushing a lightweight table against the door. I was next to the toilet (shared) which was noisy. You could hear occupants microwaving after 12am. All made for a restless night.

House not a Hotel
It was not very clear at the time of booking what extra measures we have to go through. There was no one at the property to guide. Property have no signs or label. Its just house number and we were not able to locate it despite being in that cul desac. Luckly we have a smart phone to check our code to collect the keys, which was thanks to a neighbour helping us out to locate the area.

Hardly the best.
Ugh. Place was hard to find and room pretty stark and barren. Shower had drainage problem, and no soap (fortunately, I always travel with some). No one on premises in case of any problems. I will say that the instructions for finding my room key and getting in to the house were very clear and precise.

Very dirty. Not even a lamp or bedside table in room. Nowhere to hang clothes, no tea bags or coffee. Linen was clean but great clumps of hair all over the floor and in bed.. Hadn't been hoovered. Had to clean floor myself with toilet paper. Convenient location but do not recommend.

Disappointed there were only 2 cars allowed at the address and I had to park on adjoining street with restrictions. No hot water when I got up to shower at 6am. Close to Heathrow is an advantage.

No warm bath in the early morning before flight
It was our last night in UK and we chose this hotel because it is close to Heathrow Airport. It is not manned by anyone and you can only be in contact with the administrator via email or a call. I woke up at 5 am as we have to be at the airport by 6.30 am for our 13 hr flight home. We also need to make time to return our rental car and to hop onto the shuttle bus to the airport. So, a warm shower is important before our long journey home but there was no warm water no matter how long we run the water incase the pipe was cold. It was nothing but freezing cold. There was warm water for bath in the evening when we check-in the night before. The room seems to be newly renovated but small. There was nothing to hook our clothes other than just 1 chair in the room for our family of 3 and no side table either. On the ground floor, there's a kitchen. We didn't use it. A car park in front of the house is good for us as we were the only car that park that night. A nearby pub, The Pheasant Inn was good for us to do dinner as it was just a few minutes walk so we need not worry about parking our car.

It was a great location, brilliant communications with the staff via email and mobile/text, had all the basics that you needed. My only suggestion would be to include UBS points in with the power sockets to enable all guests to recharge phones etc without needing a adaptor plug + to remove the boiler from the bedroom No. 7 - it fired up every time other guests used the hot water in the communal bathroom
