My room was never cleaned for my entire visit. Trash was never picked up in my room for my entire visit. The towels were never replaced for my entire visit.

First of all cleanliness it's poor, you can find hairs in bath, brown limescale in toilet or sinks and catpet poorly hoovered. Waiting time for bar styaff be available its ridiculous. But when they arrive, staff overall friendly. Car park for residents its paid separately (2 days 18 pounds). Also coffee services need a big upgrade but staff are brilliant.

No aircon, so to keep cool you have to open a window and listen to trains or planes. Tv remote did not work. No soap in soap dispenser. Staff either great or hopeless. Low price, but not worth it.

Andy, at the front desk was so incredibly helpful in such major ways that I can’t thank him enough for his kindness. He really when about and beyond and was instrumental in getting me to my conference talk on time, we’ll pressed and stress free. Thank you, Andy!

Poorest hotel I’ve stayed in. It was little different to a motel. I often stay in 3 and 2 star but this was weak. The bathroom resembled PE facilities and the tap barely worked, when it did it sprayed far out of the sink. No service on my cell phone in the hotel room which would have been ok, but wifi costs GBP 3 per day per device….in 2021! Staff seemed uninterested but I can barely blame them. Room was barely cleaned and window left open by staff to allow out smells.

It's ok
My bathroom sink was cracked and shower head broke off but was too tired to complain as was there for one night only. Oh, and had to pay for my breakfas even it clearly stated in hotels.com bill that my breakfas was included.

It is very convenient to the airport. The place was what I expected to be honest basic and clean. Bathrooms were old and inks were cracked. They provided breakfast which was unexpected and very welcome. The place needs an overhaul but it is still value for money.

Nice and very close to the Airport
Only spent 1 night, but comfortable and very well situated Staff were very helpful, We had a problem returning a car to Europcar, and they assisted us very well.

It was what it was ...
At check-in I was told that I needed to pay. Actually I had already paid and this was cleared up pretty quickly. It was what it was: a bed for a few hours before getting up to go to the airport very early for a very early flight. Still though, it was seventy odd pounds and for that, I think I expected it to be a little cleaner at least.

It's ok
The TravelLodge at London City airport has several nice people working there. I love the breakfast! There are a couple of sour grapes for employees, but the other people make up for it. There is no airconditioning and if the airplanes are landing on the hotel end of the runway (depends on the wind direction), fuel fumes come in your window meaning you can't open your window to cool off. No free WiFi. There are no food options or shopping close by.

Cheapest hotel in the area. For a reason though, it's outdated in design and right beside the airport. Train rails on the other side. No free wifi. On the positive side, it takes 15 min to get into London using the DLR/oyster travel card. Food is really good in the restaurant, you can take your draught beer to your room. I would stay there again.

We were really pleased!
If you're going to stay at this hotel expecting to feel like you are at Buckingham Palace, then you will be mistaken. Although, the staff makes you feel like the royal family. This is a great value and close to the train into town. Make sure you take the airport train as it was a nicer walk than to the Pontoon station, and you can exchange money to pounds while you are at the airport. We had a very good breakfast that was included, which can normally cost 10 pounds per person. Hint: Take bath cloths if you use them. They don't use those in Europe, that we saw. And the toilet has to be cranked to flush, which we incurred at several other places, so it is not unique to this hotel. We will use this hotel again. Oh....and make sure you purchase an Oyster card for travel on the trains.

SHORT WALK FROM LONDON CITY AIRPORT
Arrived shortly after 1pm and had to pay an additional 10 Pounds for early check in! Wireless not free, they charge 3 Pounds for 24 hours. Annoying wireless as it kept disconnecting and I had difficulty connecting a second device. Tea coffee and kettle in room was really appreciated. Bathroom supplies consist of two soap dispensers on the wall. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Overall good value for what I paid and a short ten minute walk from London City Airport. If you cross the bridge in front of the hotel you can walk along the pier also a nice park with benches. The Fox pub is also over there and fish and chips were very good.

The travel lodge did not receive my booking we had to wait while they chased it up. Each morning we were told we were not on the breakfast list even though I had paid for it when I originally made the booking. The staff were helpful and did their best to chase up my booking but I was disappointed and annoyed that it was not passed on to the travel lodge in the first place. Wifi was not free just the first 15 minutes after that you had to buy it, there was a problem here also and reception had to ring a helpline to rectify it. Our stay wasn't all bad the staff were helpful and friendly

Simple no frills just great place and pleasant
Very nice close to London easy access to bus and short ride to tube 24 hours tube on weekend. Nice and simple place to stay staff were brilliant. Night front desk amazing and Samuel who checked us in brilliant. And good breakfast all round nice place to stay for a couple of nights if in london lovely bed

Docklands light railway was 5 min walk. Car parking charge was £8 per 24 hours. Was able to borrow and iron and ironing board. Room was spotless.

Excellent location for an early flight
City Airport/DLR is a short 10-15 minute stroll from this typical Travelodge hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had a comfortable bed. Overall: excellent customer service and good value for money, I would certainly stay here again.

The staff were very helpful (especially the restaurant waiters who were lovely) and the hotel was clean. The iron was better than my own! The only slightly negative comment I had really was that I needed a plug by the bed for my phone (which is my alarm) so I actually moved the bed to be by the desk for the night! You could hear the planes but I always use ear plugs anyway. Wifi is not included.

Fine, near Exhibition centre & airport but quiet
Fine - Check in = smooth, room was clean and well equipped. The room was quite dark / gloomy because the window appeared to be tinted, but otherwise it was fine. Food was good, the breakfast particularly so.

Arrived Friday to check in to be told I had only booked a double room(there was 2 adults and 2 children), I said no I've booked a family room ??? I luckily could prove it but Expedia had messed up my details! Luckily Tasha could sort it but we nearly ended up having to pay more for another room!! Not happy with Expedia but very happy with the service Tasha have us at travel lodge

Helpful Staff
I was very impressed with my recent stay, especially with the extremely helpful and friendly reception staff. I had recently had an operation and they helped with my cases, advised me with useful information and created a wonderful friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel, so close to London City Airport and its station. The accommodation and food were adequate for the price I was paying. I had asked for a quiet room and they provided the quietest possible. Everything was done with a smile - very well trained and efficient staff.

We booked with Expedia a flexi room for 2adults and 3kids when we got there it turns out that there is no such room. We had to all squeeze into a room for 4. This room was miss sold by expedia and I won't be using them to book anything again

What you expect from a busy Travelodge. Clean and tidy breakfast is ok shame they don't use better sliced bread. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and bed comfortable.

No Show Penalty. Don't know what this hotel is like. Turned up with Expedia confirmation for this New Years Eve stay, both in print form and on mobile. Receptionist could not find our reservation, and told the hotel was fully booked...... Imagine trying to find a hotel on New Years Eve in London.... plus, we live in Cornwall, so a long drive. Receptionist could not be more unhelpful if she tried.... What is the icing on the cake though, is being hit with a £39 'No Show' fee 20 days later. Probably done that late in the hope that it would sail by unchallenged. It does not stop there - on contacting Travelodge, told that they don't know how to handle this, and it could take between 10 to 14 days to make the refund.... all at 10p a minute.... also advised to call Expedia because they might refund it.... 15 minutes on the line with Expedia and counting..... Will send a time and expenses claim in as well.

Clean, simple and Value for money
The room was clean and simple which is exactly what we needed it for and at £69 for 3 of us great value, we were going to The o2 so we wanted to be near there and not pay over the nose. Staff were friendly and helpful and loved the fact there was food avaiable 24hrs as at 3am after some drinking the pizza available was very helpful!!!! The only negative I have is the room was very hot.

Hotel was excellent .. As usual clean and reliable .. The only drawback was the fact that the single beds in the room we're not comfortable at all.. The double bed was really good.. Apart from that everything else was perfect :)

Nettes Personal.gute Lage. Leider wurde in fast 5 Tagen nicht einmal der Müll geleert im Zimmer oder Toilette Papier nach gefüllt …wo wir erst nachfragen mussten . Und bei der Ankunft war die junge Frau an der Rezeption ziemlich erkältet und zum anderen Personal unfreundlich…macht leider kein gutes Bild…..alle anderen waren sehr freundlich
