"The hotel is closing to guests in order to take in refugees so not such a smooth operation. Not the fault of staff who were all friendly and helpful. Full marks to Kamman who kept bar open after his shift ended for late revellers. We were attending a wedding nearby so didn’t require full facilities. Breakfast ok but very busy. "

"This place has gone down hill, was a lovely hotel with great staff, now it has new owners it's horrible. Terrible service, things not working, pool dirty I could go on...stay away."

"The staff at Frederick's was so helpful and friendly and personable. I felt very cared for and welcome, which is nice as traveling can be a bit lonely. The only reason I am not giving the property 5 stars is that the pool was under renovation, but it won't be next time I come back. "
