What a gem!!! Very reasonably priced, has what you need in a room plus a view of the bay, complimentary drink and meal discount. Train station and beautiful eating places on the doorstep. We would definitely book again

The dining area was nice but the hotel is very run down and needs a lot of work. The rooms were okay but the overall feel was that the place needs some serious money spent on it. We stayed there for convenience to an event we were attending. The location was good.

The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Sandringham. The room was basic but clean, safe and quiet. It did have an unpleasant smell of bleach when we arrrived

I called the day before about check in times I was hoping to grab the key and drop the bags of around 10am because we were heading into the GP and I wouldn’t be back till after 7. I was told the accomodation manager was gone for the day but shouldn’t be problem if I come in tomorrow morning or someone will be at check in till 11:30pm Friday night. I was there 10:30am no one was there to help, accomodation office was locked and the guy at Pokies (only counter with someone there!) was not interested. So I left my bags in my car remembering the woman on the phone said that someone will be there till 11:30pm. I arrive after the GP at 10:30 hoping it would be an easy process. The room is all paid for I would just get my keys and off to bed. Not the case took almost an hour and half to verify that I had a booking even though I provided receipts, booking reference number, drivers license and credit card! How hard can it be? Finally at almost midnight I got my keys went into room number 4. The windows don’t close there are no fly screens so I got mauled by mosquitoes while trying to sleep to hum of the outdoor airconditioning unit outside my window yay!

Sandringham has a lovely village atmosphere with beach walks, restaurants and wine bars nearby. The train station is also close by and an excellent way to visit the city. The accommodation is adequate and surprisingly quiet considering it is part of the hotel. We will be back.

Beds were so comfortable & room was great value. Had real difficulties checking in. Tried provided phone handset for about 15 mins with no response. Were then running late for a family function. Ended up taking a chance & joining meal line in hotel hoping for help. Luckily duty manager came over & sorted out which was greatly appreciated, as he gave us our keys

Tony the manager was so obliging and pleasant As was a tall dark haired manager, unfortunately I can’t recall her name. Amenities in the room were great. House cleaning below par, same sheets for 7 days, room not vacuumed daily Great position and I would recommend a stay here to anyone traveling to this area .
