Ridiculously small rooms; no surfaces to put anything on; no kettle; no proper access to bed; broken bathroom equipment; no storage space for cases; no table; no seat; no place to store clothing; bad ventilation; crime outside the main entrance; poor value for money

Staff great - very friendly. 20 mins walk from train station, which was a bit far at night and kinda sketchy. No water to drink in room, you have to go downstairs, ask for a paper cup and fill it up down there. Bed hella uncomfortable. Room very tiny but very clean. TV broken but got there at 10pm and left at 8am so not an issue for us. Soap inconveniently placed outside of shower and only one towel provided for two guests. Sound proofing between rooms was great but corridor most kept us up half the night (unlucky to be next to a door perhaps?) Would I stay again? Maybe if it was week under £50 for the night again, otherwise no. Would never stay longer than one night though - couldn't hack it!

The lack of drinking water and inconvenient soap placement in the shower room are also valid concerns that should have been addressed properly. One towel and an uncomfortable bed fell short of our standards for cleanliness and comfort. Please be assured we take guest complaints seriously and will use your feedback to make improvements. A broken television or noise from the corridor are issues beyond our control on occasion, but we aim to resolve any issues swiftly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I have returned many times to this hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy. The only negatives I can say is that on my stay on 19/01/24 the heating was not working properly so it was a chilly night. Parking can be challenging depending on the time of day. This hotel doesn't have a car park. Parking is available on street. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. It is well located at the city centre.

Not impressed this time
This review is based on this particular stay. I have stayed at this hotel a few times so I sort of know this is not the standard however I still need to put it out there. On check in, the person in reception said she was upgrading me to a large room but on getting to the room, it was smaller than I have previously used. Upon telling her she told me she couldn't change the room as I had used the toilet ( I was bursting having driven from Manchester to Milton Keynes). The hotel wasn't even full as she upgraded someone else's room later while I was waiting to sort something else out. T
he remote didn't work. I could only use the iron for 2 hours and while using it, a fuse must have blown where the whole room went into darkness. I physically went down(was on 3rd floor) to report this and she came to check out my story then went back down leaving me standing at the door like a lemon for 15mins before resetting it. The iron had leaked water on the bed by this time. TV still didn't work though she changed the remote as no signal and had to pull wire out and wiggle about before it worked. By this time I was expecting a change of room but none was forthcoming. Not impressed at all.

The Indian manager was a complete idiot, He didnt know how to operate the heating and just suggested that I turn off the unit if it wasnt providing warm air. The front staff were very nice and super helpful. One offered me a different room with working heating (which the manager initially refused) another front staff provided me with a space heater. Its a shame they have a complete imbecile as a manager

I was so impressed. Super clean room. I was using it for business didn’t care about my windowless option as I just wanted a good nights sleep and AC worked well. Good service from front desk would def come back v good value.

Uncomfortable beds, TV didn't work and no shower gel in the shower dispenser. The response upon notifying the receptionist when leaving was 'ok thanks'

Poor rooms furnishings makes the stay horrible. No chairs, desks, wardrobes, cabinets or even a kettle to make a cup of tea. Literally, a bed an a toilet, with a wall mounted TV. Absent car park also is a big problem.

The staff were really helpful, especially Mr. Harsh at the reception. We had a comfortable 2 night stay. It is at a walkable distance from the train station and shopping centre. The hotel was neat and cosy.

The room is very very small no room no manoeuvre just about contains two people. Okay for one night. It is clean and towels and soap is provided.
