The Sakala Resort Bali

"We return to this hotel time and time again and it looks the same as when we first stayed. All the staff are lovely and very attentive. They really make you feel at home and that nothing is too much trouble for them. The amenities are awesome over the years we've eaten at the pool bar, the beach club restaurant, we've had a romantic beachfront dinner experience and most recently their tapenyaki experience. All are amazing and if you can do them all... You should. Their breakfast buffet is the best I've ever experienced, you can choose to have western, Indonesian, Indian and continental food options. And there's even a chocolate fountain with fruit for the kids (you know I had that). One thing I wouldn't sleep on, the Nasi Jingo option if you do stay! The spa is lovely and relaxing. Yes you can go down the road and get a much more affordable spa option, but I promise you the experience you receive and the setting is totally different and non comparable. I reccomend booking an evening massage after your days activities or a full relaxation package for a lounge day. Until recently I've gatekeped this hotel but it's about time I supported it by leaving the review it deserves. Thank you Sakala team and I hope you still have space for us on our next return. "Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff who can't do enough to help. The additional experiences and entertainment were great and sunrise yoga by the temple was very special and I would definitely stay there again. Only one minor area that could be improved upon. Upon check in you are able to add room credit to cover drinks etc, and if you do so the hotel will add an additional 10 percent. This is great, however the communication around this could be improved. For example there is no obvious way to see how much of your credit you have spent, so I asked reception for my balance half way through my stay which was incorrect and I was unaware that not all hotel purchases e.g. renting a cabanna or having a spa treatment could be used for this credit."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Conrad Bali. Staff go out of their way for you and provide excellent customer service. Our room was lovely and clean was plenty of space. Housekeeping do an amazing job. Breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. During our stay we visited the Suku restaurant, staff here were extremely helpful and special meals were prepared for us. I would like to thank Dewi and Puto for their hospitality in the restaurant. Also a massive thank you to Rani at the front desk for arranging a special treat to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Plenty to do at the hotel with nearby attractions. We also visited the spa who provide a range of services at an extra cost but well worth it. If I ever come back to Bali again then this would definitely be the place to stay again."

"Had 11 nights All Inclusive with my husband and it was amazing! We had other family here as well (6 adults and 4 kids) - the resort catered for all ages and pallets. Everybody loved their stay. Highly recommend the all inclusive. Minor criticism, some of the fixtures in the room could use a refresh. The door handles and towel rails have seen better days."

"Best holiday for the family. The resort has everything we needed and accommodated us /any family with little kids. The food options across the resort were fantastic. It was easy to book the dinners at each restaurant when we arrived. The pool is cleaned and checked throughout the day. We had two rooms adjoined through a door and it meant the kids could have a nap or a sleep in. *Also this is a sustainable hotel* no plastic to speak of and recycle/reuse. Beach was also spotless."

"An amazing resort for families - everything was in easy reach and staff were very accomodating. The free shuttle to the Bali Collection and beach were handy, as were all the restaurants on the door step of the resort. We have already booked another stay! 😊"
