"Clean room, great location, delicious pizza downstairs "

"Broken light reported on the Saturday morning first thing and still not fixed by the Tuesday when I checked out. Housekeeping wasn’t that great, sink/sides not wiped down in the bathroom. Also the top sheet of the bed was pulled up but underneath the bottom sheet and quilt weren’t. I would estimate about 3 minutes was spent in my room each day and it showed. Not acceptable for the amount of money the room cost for 4 days. "

"It was such a horrible hostel experience, the bed was dirty and looked like someone had just checkout , they didn’t change the bed sheet from the previous guest, its was disgusted , I found hair and dirt on bed, I had to put a towel and paper underneath for me to lay down, and they price was overpriced for $45 a night at this unhygienic place. I do not recommend this place unless you just need a place to shower after hiking. Pay more and go find a hotel. The most disappointing hostel experience and wasted of money"

"I loved that everything on the property was very sustainable and supported local businesses in food, furniture, and amenities. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved eating at the restaurant too!"

"The property has beautiful views and is not a terrible walk to town. Just a steeper hike uphill when you walk back to the hotel from town. The bed was the best I have slept on while in New Zealand! Very comfortable. "

"Clean room, bed super comfy, staff lovely. Convenient to airport. Free parking is limited but there is a well priced parking area behind hotel. "
