"Checking in, or even reserving in the first place, can be remarkably difficult if you don’t have a smartphone. My check-in agent was wonderfully helpful, and eventually figured out a way to provide me with the necessary “key” in spite of my iPad-based reservation. Still, prepare yourself for a bit of a struggle…"

"Such a convenient location for staying in London at a reasonable big City price. Lovely breakfast was included. Staff was super helpful and the rooms had everything we needed. Will definitely come back."

"We stayed here 3 nights to celebrate a birthday. I found the restaurant and bar staff to be absolutely amazing, as we went to Savoy Grill, River Restaurant and American Bar. Food and drinks were great. Room (stayed in superior queen) was nice, but having paid similar rates for rooms at other London hotels I probably had high expectations. Anyhow, it still was a decent room and enough space for 2 people. I think the only thing that let it down was some of the reception staff could have been more attentive, or when I came to collect my ID as the lady forgot to return it when checking in I was told to wait but no update given. Eventually about 10 mins later the security guy comes over and asks if I had any other ID when my driving license clearly has my picture on it. Other than some minor customer service things I thought could have been done better, the hotel is a good location and at least can say now been to the Savoy!"

"No air conditioning which is becoming increasingly necessary now. Have to open windows which makes it noisy being on a main road. Small table fan was noisy. Room and bathroom tight space but clean. Overall the hotel was clean. Should add small towels for bathing if using liquid soap."

"Room was great, clean, housekeeping was amazing, never had to wait for cleaning, It didn't feel crowded with three people for a week. Bathroom was spacious and clean, lots of towels. The location couldn't be better, centrally located, walking distance to many sights, but best of all is the Covent Garden shopping area. There was a few minuses though. I wish there was more shelving or drawers to keep your clothes, lighting was always an issue, I found myself always looking for more light. FInally, the tub didn't drain that well and there was not enough garbage bins considering that there was a kitchenette. All in all though I'd definitely return."
