"The hotel is ideally situated - while not being in an immediately picturesque location, its proximity to the M6, A66 and Penrith North Lakes railway station make it the perfect base for exploring the beauty of the Lake District in one direction and Yorkshire in the other. "And older property that is tired. However, the room was very quiet despite being next to a door and lift. With the window open 6" it was warm and comfortable. Lots of hot water and a very handy but limited (paid) car parking.
AND the view over Windermere was FAB!!!!!
