The pool was beautiful and relaxing and had great views of the ocean and the live music by the bar at night was great. The atmosphere was really lively, but not too loud/crowded that you couldn’t relax. "

Staff at all of the outlets and pools really make it special for all guests. Plenty of pool seats and options. Room service and Sugarsand meals were a highlight! "The Trans Resort Bali is a five-star hotel at a great price. It is fully centered around a large pool, and large sand pool. It has a huge restaurant ("The Restaurant") that has a solid breakfast buffet. The quality of the food here is above-average for Bali, but doesn't quite meet five-star quality. The rooms are spacious, and many have outdoor jetted bathtubs. The sliding doors don't have screens, and they aren't air tight. This means that you will periodically smell smoke from nearby cooking/trash fires, and the rooms are louder than those found in most modern 4 and 5-star hotels. The spa was closed for the month of June for roof repairs, but I had a massage in a converted room on the ground floor (which was quite noisy as it is next to a kids play area). All of the front desk staff were smiling and helpful! Most of the restaurant staff were great as well. For the price, this is almost a five-star experience!"
