"This place is weird. Problem 1: no parking or even a simple place to unload. You have to lug suitcases up a dirt path from an adjacent parking lot where you can’t park during the day without paying $6:50 an hour so if you do the all day bus tour to Milford Sound you would need to pay over $50 but since you leave very early in the morning the meter system can’t work. So there are Parker’s with big tickets on their windows. Two: there is no one at the desk from early evening till Moy and that means anyone off the street can simply walk in. Not even key access to the door, it is just open and there is no staff at all in the mooted, just a camera the desk person in the morning said. Never saw this anywhere in the world in my fifty years of travel. NO STAFF PRESEBT FOR NAYBE TEN HOURS OVERNIGHT. Don’t let your daughters stay here. OK, this is not New York or London, but not OK. Three: the hotel is so concernyabout their bottom line that lights in the bathroom is on literally a 15 second timer so unless you keep waving your hand almost constantly the lights are out while you are in the bathroom. Stay away from this hotel and any others in this chain. "

"Beautiful hotel with stunning views of Queenstown. Incredible staff who make you feel extremely welcome and special. Only complaint is the hotel is currently undergoing major works with construction running during our stay between 7-6pm which was not disclosed when booking. We are quite an easy going couple so wasn’t a big turn off for us but I can imagine for some this would be very problematic and some of the works meant needing to access an alternative entrance up a steep hill. In saying this the hotel did go above and beyond with providing complimentary services. Would recommend this hotel especially once they have finished their works. "

"We had the 2 bedroom apartment (Lakeside) which was very spacious, very well maintained and the amenties were excellent. Being Lakeside, the outlook was unbelievable. There's a bus stop directly across the road to take you into town and one outside the property to bring you back. Ubers and taxis are also easily available. The staff were excellent and very knowledgeable. This was an excellent hotel in a very scenic location. Would thoroughly recommend this property."

"The front desk area was small and cramped, with no wet weather provisions and not particularly welcoming. It was not in keeping with the accommodation which was excellent and had marvellous views of the lake."

"We stayed at a 3 bedroom villa. The staff is very nice and responded immediately when we need help. The place is very clean, modern and quiet. A pleasant stay."

"There were no restaurants & bars open in the evening, the terrace area was dirty & had mould spots, there was no microwave or meal preparation facilities which was disappointing given the restaurants were closed."
