The location was excellent. The room was adequate. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The heated pool was closed for our entire stay. The elevators were the best I’ve ever experienced. Almost never had to wait. My one complaint was housekeeping. While they came daily and did ok making the beds, changing sheets, etc. they often didn’t take and replace dirty glasses, didn’t replenish the paper coffee cups and never replaced the plastic cups. The plastic bag for the ice bucket was never replaced. And the shampoo, conditioner and body was dispensers ran out of product and were never refilled.
Another complaint is when checking in we were informed of a destination charge daily over and above what we had pre-paid. This needs to be reported in the listing by Expedia.
All in all however it’s a good place to stay in San Francisco
