The location is very accessible to dinning, shopping, massage centre, entertainment and night market. The staff always friendly and approachable. The rooms are cosy with brightness which my family preferred. This is my 2nd time staying with this hotel. Suitable for family, couple and friends.

Great location, 3mins from Ximen station exit 3. 5mins walks to Ximending, food & shopping is everywhere! Service of staff is excellent, only setback was the room itself. Not for light sleepers as the walls are thin, you can hear your neighbour closing the doors or if they talk a little louder in their own rooms... No cabinet, not enough hooks to hang clothes in the room, no hooks in the toilet to hang bath towels.. if they can add more hooks it will be lovely, I can put up with the thin walls for the super affordable rates... :D

Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Room size wasn't big but the very short distance to Ximending MRT and all the attractions made up for it. Staff and service were incredible, exemplary Taiwanese hospitality and warmth. Would stay again for sure!

Walls are thin, so bring earplugs or a white noise machine/app. Area is a little run down but still safe. Certainly compared to the comparable Times Square. Modern rooms with maids that keep it clean but they also start early, around 8, so don't stay up too late if you want good sleep. No windows, so was a bit of mold in the bathroom. If you're staying long term, perhaps consider upgrading. If short term, not a bad stay at all.

The hotel is nearby all the major spots of city. Hotel is clean and tidy with an aesthetic look and feel. Jimmy and members of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They will help you with anything and everything. Food is amazing.

Short Taipei family getaway
Check in was smooth and receptionist was friendly. Overall staff were friendly and courteous. We stayed in a windowless triple room but it didn’t feel too small. Room was clean and amenities were good. Hotel location was very good.

Front counter staff are top notch. Counter open 24/7. Very friendly and helpful and able to converse in English. They have a communal room where you can eat. There are also washing machines and dryers for guests’s use. My room has everything I need though a bit small. It is serviced every day and looks clean and modern. We had a bit of problem with door key not working on first day and losing wifi another day but will still give them 10/10 because front staff looked into it pronto. The hotel is just opposite exit 3 Ximen Station and food places are nearby. Will definitely stay here again if I visit Taipei again.

Convenient location just within 5 mins from the main Ximending shopping street. There are many convenient stores and food shops nearby so we never ran out of food to eat. Hotel reception also provides free instant noodles at night so there is no one moment that we felt hungry. There is a laundry and dining room at B1 so we hung out there quite a lot to relax with friends (we stayed at different rooms) after shopping. Overall a pleasant stay, we would definitely return to this hotel in the future when visiting Taipei.

Very clean hotel right across Ximending shopping street and Ximen subway. Hotel provides free washing machine and dryer (3 each). The pantry is well stocked with biscuits, coffee machine, water dispenser, microwave oven, toaster. They also have instant noodles (at reception counter from 10 pm to midnight) and snacks (in the room). The staff are friendly and helpful. You can also request for turn down service or room cleaning. It was a comfortable and satisfying experience staying here. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable and excellent service
Could not ask for a better hotel for our family of 6. We got 2 rooms, which were very clean and thoughtfully furnished. We really appreciated the dining area at B1 where we could eat our takeouts, and with some complimentary refreshments provided. There is even a self-service laundry. Most importantly, customer service is top notch. They go out of their way even for small requests. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be staying there again for subsequent trips to Taipei.

Been to different branches of Cityinn and never disappoint. Staff was polite and answer queries very helpful. One of the ladies on duty on 25 May at ard 7:25 pm was very helpful in giving us directions to our restaurant.

Elite double room, wish I got a bigger room. This room already has windows but it still felt small. I did like the separation between the bedroom and bathroom. Liked the availability of hooks and light switches everywhere. Liked the free snacks, instant noodles available at night at the lobby, and tea/water. The service folks are friendly. The location is super central and right across from the Ximen MRT station. Peaceful sleep (not noisy at all), 7-11s/Family Mart right outside.

The stay was amazing. Excellent location opp Ximen station exit 3. Just across the junction there is a family mart. Opp Far East Shopping mall where there is foodcourt, starbuck, steakhouse, etc. Place is clean with excellent services. Free hot coffee, teas, cold teas, titbits and taiwan instant bowl noodle (supper). Staff are helpful and help to receive parcel though I had not check in hotel and help to order Li Ji tart online. Very organised and proactive. They are alway ready to help whenever we need help in looking for any shops. They also got free laundry machine and cozy common area at B1 and weighing machine at level 1.👍👍👍

The room is very clean, water pressure for showering is power and super like it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Really very convenient as 2-3 mins walking distance to Exit 3 Ximen train station. Only 1 thing need improvement as 3 person sharing one room and there is no wardrobe therefore the hanging space is very limited, they should have both side of the wall with the hanging space instead of only 1 side. Will stay here again in future.

My wife and I stayed at Cityinn for 6 nights using our visit to Taipei. We intentionally chose Cityinn because it is a distance away from Ximeding - far enough to avoid its bustle and din but near enough to walk there (3 mins). It is a minute's walk from Ximen MRT's exit 3 - super convenient - and opposite a rather posh though quiet shopping mall with affordable restaurants at its basement. The room is of a decent size, with a double bed, small desk with water flask, fridge, safe and a mini open closet to hand clothes, all without impeding two persons walking around the room. TV comes with free on-demand latest-ish movies. Bathroom is well stocked and spacious, with pleasant creature comforts such a heated toilet seat (!). It must be mentioned that the lobby provides free coffee, tea and hot chocolate, not to mention cup noodles between 10pm to midnight. What's more impressive is an equipped kitchen in the basement that also has free drinks (Jura coffee machine), mini oven, microwave and a sink. There is also free usage of its washer, dryer and (flimsy but no complaints there) standing steam iron. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Had one of the best hotel experiences with City Inn! The hotel is not fancy but it's super clean and got everything that we need! Every single staff is pleasant and very helpful. Every part of the room and property serves a purpose to make the guests feel comfortable. Free coffee, tea, drinking water, snacks, mini pantry, and laundry facility. Everything that you need is on the property. Great and peaceful location as well. Above all, the staff and service are awesome.
