Very well situated downtown in Taipei
The hotel staff greater me by my name-------very rare these days. They were expecting me. They were very friendly and helpful. Level of training seems above most 3 or 4 star hotels. Rooms were very clean and wifi worked fine. It is a good hotel for businessmen who wish to find good value for money.

The room rate is affordable in a excellent location. Staff are friendly. But the facilities and interior decorates are dated if you don't mind.

The hotel is right in the middle of 2 metro stations, i find it quite far to walk to the station. Also the facilities in the hotel is quite old and the toilet is quite smelly.

Great
One of the best rated hotel 2/3 star hotel. Hotel front line or customer are great to treat you as Honor Guest and Family member. Location are great as well as only 3 minute away from MRT. Room are comfortable with very basic however well equip attachment. There is no free wifi provision for this hotel. Best recommend for tourist with family and friend.

Out dated hotel...toilet smell of curtains plastic after day of enclosure. .tv size too pathetic on small ensemble, needs major overhaul to stay in the industry. .will not consider to come back

Reasonable, but tired looking
It was a last minute booking and I didn't had much choices. The location is between to MRT stations and abit of walking is required (from Zhongshan MRT or from Shandao MRT which is longer) The rooms were tired looking, sort of stuck back in the 1980s if interior design is a big deal for your. It was clean, the water is hot and good enough for a few days stay.

Great service for my family!
My wife, two boys and I stayed for two nights. When we arrived, we had three pieces of luggage that were 20 kg's each, two backpacks, and a small kids luggage with wheels. As I was checking in, the bell man took all of our bags, including our backpacks, and loaded them onto his cart. The elevator wasn't very big so he told us to go up ahead. A few minutes later, he came in with all of our luggage. The friendly front desk staff spoke very good English. The hotel is old but clean and seems to have a very well-established routine. The moment we walked in we felt that it was a very good hotel. The hotel is in a great location, easy to access by MRT and bus. Good neighbourhood. Apparently the nightlife near the hotel is quite good with many bars and clubs. I would stay there again, never mind recommending it to others. Book this hotel with confidence!

The hotel is in a good location that is walking distance to public transportation. It is kept clean and has WiFi for a low price. I would not recommend this hotel to non-asians, however. The staff made me feel unwelcomed and unwanted. I was also disappointed by the bed and breakfast. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with twin beds. While checking out, they charged me a large amount for breakfast, which I thought was included. They refused to let me see my printed copy of the booking, telling me it was locked in a filing cabinet. They showing me their own document instead. This document was clearly altered with white-out and was unconvincing. At this exact time a group of Asians were checking out so I asked if they were charged for breakfast and they said that it was included with the room.

DO NOT STAY
I don't recommend anyone staying at the hotel. The staff here was NOT at all helpful. They spoke little to no English. And refused to help with money exchange. The rooms were extremely dirty. There is construction in the hotel with drilling that started early in the morning. It is not a place I would ever stay at again and no one should ever book the Emperor Hotel!

The staff were incredibly nice, but unforunately the rooms and bed linens were old and dingy that gave an uneasy feeling about staying there.

I'm satisfied with my 6days stay, all the reception staff are very helpful, I enjoy my mini vacation.location a little walk to the MRT. Hotel price is reasonable. I recommend it.

Nice hotel for budget stay
I liked the hotel, specially its location. The hotel is more of a budget hotel. If your plan is to use the hotel as a place to sleep at night only, this is ideal for the price. I got a discount rate, which was significantly cheaper than the other hotels in the neighborhood. There are plenty of eateries around the hotel. Linsen park is right opposite, and the subway stations are within walking distance. I will recommend this hotel.

Pretty good overall experience
The hotel itself is a bit old, but everything is pretty well maintained. The room is clean and comfortable. Location is fairly decent, but you do need to catch a bus or a short cab ride to the MRT.

すごく古いけれど、金魚が泳いでる水槽と蘭の花など豪華で昭和チックでいい点もありますね。 立地良くて歩いて三越や銀行、郵便局に行けたので泊まれてよかったです。チェックイン24時間と、チェックアウト12時も良い点でした。

設備の質は並だと思いますが、交通の便が良いことがプライスレス。徒歩圏内で多くの買い物が済ませられますし、バス停が目の前です。大きめの公園が目の前なのもGOOD。 チェックアウトが12時だったので、最終日も荷物を置いたまま午前の買い物ができた点も満足です。

私自身は出張目的でリーズナブルに使用させていただいています。駅もある気はしますがそれほど遠くなく、移動も便利です。 道路を挟んで公園があるので、朝涼しいうちにランニングも可能です。

ドアの鍵やトイレなどレトロではありますがシンプルに寝泊まりできました。スタッフの方は親切です。 朝食は外で台湾名物をいただいた方がいいかもしれないです。 立地はとても便利でした。 近くにとても良い足ツボマッサージ店があります。
