The hotel caters to group tours and independent travelers. Desperately needs a face lift and thorough cleaning in all its rooms I suspect. Furniture and everything else seems worn. Front desk staff are minimally helpful as they seem overwhelmed and understaffed. Not the kind of attentive service I have experienced at other hotels in Taipei and tainan on this trip. Find something else in this great neighborhood.

Rooms are quite spacious but really need an update with new furniture and amenities. Staff cater to a lot of international tourist groups and understaffed at times so slow and not entirely attentive in responding to our queries or requests for help.

FX hotel convenient location in northern Taipei
Central location, adjacent to Nanjing-Fushing MTR station. Easy access off the flyover for Airport runs. Right upstairs from China Airlines city office. I booked the lowest price room, windowless but not unusual. The decor was dark wood and lighting was difficult to adjust. Shower would backup until a bedside switch was activated. Strange setup. Towels and soap were extra NT$200 for this “enviro room”. No deal breaker but would prefer better lighting and disclosure before booking.

Nice room, good value
Very nice room, good value, handy for MRT. A bit less convenient for airport MRT but take a bus or taxi. Plenty of restaurants around. Bed a bit harder than I'm used to.

Almost Perfect, messed-up by inconsiderate guests
Excellent services from Check-in to the daily Maid/Room Service to the 1st floor restaurant staff; the only improvement that I like to comment on is the order of guests getting buffet dishes can be much more organized by having a sign to direct guests to line-up from one direction to enter (get their food and drinks without crowded over in one area blocking others...etc) and exit....

I like the location very much, subway is 5 min. away, banks across street, eating places around. the big drawback is the conference room only open till 10pm, which is not for international meetings. the breakfast is not as good as expected, not adjustable for the price. Most staff is very nice except one female we encountered at front desk is very impatient.

A good hotel near an MRT train station for good connectivity to Taipei Main Station and the World Trade Centre and reasonably priced for the quality of accommodation on offer. I would book again. Good water pressure in the shower and temperature!

uhhh I've stayed here but now it's dated. CHOOSE YOUR ROOM TYPE CAREFULLY because some of them does NOT give you towels and toothbrush and other essentials. the BEST part is that it is super central and close to ningxia night market

Not a good hotel and not worthy to stay
Staff attitude is not good and non-friendly. Room is not very clean and can smell the dust near to the corner and windows. Strongly recommend not to stay and not worthy to pay what you get. No parking space for any accommodations as well.

perfect central city Zhongshan district. This is the CBD of “old modern Taipei”. (as opposed to BeiMen which is OLD Ancient Taipei city wall) the hotel is directly upstairs to the China Airlines City HQ office. 1 block from underground station and 10-12 bus lines right ion front. mid city cab rides run between $4-$8 US (NT$120-250). location is near the JianGuo express way to the airport (by car)

The phone doesn't work and they told me to fix since first day I checked in. Every day they told me fixing, fixing but never work. Or they told me it works but still doesn't work. They said they can help me to dial in the front desk then transfer to my room. But you wait in the room the staff doing something else until you go front desk again... So I have to use my cellphone to call the local internationally. So Bad!!!

Great location and very friendly, helpful staff. But, this is not a 4-star hotel. Check-in is on the 15th floor. The hotel doesn’t have a lobby on the street level, and no service to the street, like bellmen or even a taxi pickup. In Taipei where it often rains, you shouldn’t have to walk through the rain to get from your taxi to the entrance of a 4-star hotel. This hotel is actually the top four floors of a 13-story class B office building. Rooms in the hotel are outdated, with loud purple velvet couches that you can’t even sit on because their cushions are so old and collapsed. Lighting in the bedside tables and headboard is hardwired to electric with connections taped together and no cover plates. Shower hose is covered in mold. Woke up Sunday morning at 7:30 to the sound of hammering.
