Great stay with lots of dining options around. Great breakfast choices nearby and famous noodle shops and soy milk etc just few minutes away. 7 -eleven ,.coffee, bubble tea all just nearby. The bathrooms are little bit dated and little bit of mould on tiles but apart from that it's ok for what you need

Worth the money
Overall I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Taipei Price: 5/5 For the prize, you are getting a decent size room in an excellent location Location: 5/5 It is located near Taipei Main Station, find exit Z6 and the hotel should be within walking distance. If you have luggage with you, use elevator at exit Z2, cross the redlight and walk to the hotel Facilities: 5/5 Yes you have to pay 500 NTD for drier and washer, but the good thing is, most of the time there will be available washer because people usually doesn't want to use it if not free. Microwave is provided as well. Service and Perks: 4/5 You can ask hotel's help to buy you gift, such as pineapple tarts, so you don't have to go out and queue for it. You also get 1 beer per pax per stay from the restaurant downstairs This hotel has an excellent coffee machine near the lobby. The hotel is really doing their best to be eco friendly - no more small body wash and shampoo, less bottle water (instead they give you a jug to be filled with water from dispenser in the lobby). The downside is just the housekeeping is every 3 days. Cleanliness and Condition: 4/5 Overall the room is really clean, a bit mold building up in the bathroom but should be an easy fix. The door is a bit faulty though, you need to push it to properly close the door.

My second time staying in Hotel Relax II. Still the stay is very comfortable and they have upgraded their washer and dryer bit the cleanliness of the toilet needs improvement. Some mold and dirt here and there. Other than the toilet, the stay is very pleasant.

Room is ok bright and clean, a bit small for 2 people to spend a night. Bathroom is small, hardly couldn’t move freely. But the main area that the hotel should improved is the lobby. It’s dark, not enough light & air. I could not imagine if I have to work there as the Receptionist! As a guest, I couldn’t feel welcoming & comfortable atmosphere, plus the quality of air in the lobby is terrible, smells like spring onion mix with strong vanilla smell that makes me want to leave the lobby as soon as I can.

Great location right by the main train station, about a 10 minute walk away. It can be a bit noisy but it is balanced out by the great location. Staff was very nice. Lots of shopping and food choices around the hotel.

Stayed here for 9 nights. On the key card holder, it clearly stated that rooms would be cleaned every 3 days (this was hi-lited in pink). So on day 4, we left our towels on the floor expecting a cleaning. To our surprise, no cleaning. When we went to the desk to inquire, we were told it was to be done only after 7 days, per the fine print on the room door. Photo of cleaning policy is shown. If you stay 3 or less nights, no cleaning, but if you stay 4 nights or more, you get cleaning every 3 days. BUT if you stay more than 7 nights, you get cleaning every 7 days. We complained, and they said if we want full cleaning they would have to charge us. After we pointed out the conflicting policy, they agreed to clean on following day. The "clean" towels we received has brown streaks on them. And we NEVER got another cleaning our entire stay (we stayed 9 nights and only got cleaned on day 5)! Floors were dirty, bathroom was dirty and moldy. Additionally there were a few design flaws, such as not enough space to hang towels to dry, and a very short area to hang clothes such that the clothes touched the bottom. The bathroom had a large step up, then another smaller step up to the toilet which made for a hazardous tripping/falling risk (not all bathrooms are like this but ours was). Next to no counter space in bathroom. I might be able to forgive the design flaws, but the lack of cleaning and poorly written policy are unforgiveable.

Central downtown location walking distance to Taipei Main Station hub and to airport MRT, shopping etc. An Easy Card will get you to almost anywhere. It's good if you like the hustle and bustle. Solid 3 star hotel.

Short walk to the Taipei Main Station and underground shopping street and Ningxia night market. Shopping everywhere. Big lobby convenient for visitors, with free coffee. Room cleaned every 3 days, but cleaned only every 7 days if staying more than 7 days (unless you complain). Strange logic...

We like the location near Taipei Main Station and the room with window is decent size for this price range. Room is comfortable with 2 chairs, dining table, double bed and decent shower. Free coffee and water dispenser at lobby.

We like the location near Taipei Main Station as we were doing a number of trips around Taiwan. The room was clean and reasonably spacious for this price range. The bed was comfortable and shower good. Free coffee and water provided at lobby. Welcome mini basket of snacks was good. There is a pleasant retro cafe Notch just 2 streets away. We walked to Ningxia market from here and Shinkong Mitsukoshi has a basement food and supermarket.

The location is not bad at all if you know how to find the short cut to the main train station. The room is in a good size, but there is no closet and limited attached hangers in the room. We stayed there for the 5 nights, but we only got the cleaning service for 1 night. You can ask for the cleaning towels every day.

Never been to a hotel so bad they don’t provide cleaning of room, self service to fill water. Basically no service what so ever and for the price we paid there are a lot of other choices. Please be aware

We are currently promoting an environmentally friendly hotel, so room cleaning is only provided for stays of more than three nights, but we can help you change towels and replenish supplies every day. The staff were helpful whenever I had any concerns in regards to the room. I did see some water damage in one corner of the room which was there before I arrived in the room. There is also a restaurant downstairs which gives a discount to those who stay in the hotel, and the food was very good. Overall a pleasant stay.

Very convenient location wise. Near to a lot of attractions (just a few stops away). Family Mart is just opposite the hotel too. There are washers, dryers and water dispenser there too. Very useful for those who prefer lighter luggages. Breakfast is now bento, was hoping for buffet for the autonomy of choices. There is no wardrobe or storage drawers, only has a tiny space with hangers which is really insufficient for a family room that caters to a family of 4. While we understand the reasoning behind the housekeeping changes, I would really prefer more regular housekeeping. This is especially so if the bins are small and we do not have extra plastic bags. But all in all, the stay has been a pleasant one especially when the staff are friendly and helpful.

I really like that there's free coffee, a water station and paid laundry available. It was nice there's a kettle in the room so I didn't have to buy water, surprised to see free snacks in the room and slippers as I had forgotten mine. I prefer if breakfast wasn't offered as there were many places to eat around the area. Housekeeping available every third day, but they had forgotten to vacuum the floor and the white tiles in the bathroom needs to be scrubbed esp near the toilet. The location was convenient, close to mrt and walking distance from certain attractions.

We stayed at the deluxe double rooms for 5 nights. Room was comfortable and spacious for 2 persons. Only hardware issue was the height of the built-in wardrobe, it was so low that even a hoodie jacket is dragging on the floor after being hung. Location of this property is great, convenience stores are just across the street. Main train station is a quick walk away. Lots of food options around area. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we come into contact.
