Booked 2 rooms. We paid the same price but different size. One of it was too small, we can’t even open our luggage properly. No proper sign showed where the entrance or how to find the hotel. We have to keep google to see the locations, reach the reception but didn’t even get proper greet. We were waiting for like 10mins to get our self checked in, however the male staff wasn’t too friendly to tell us where our directions to our rooms and what’s the facilities the hotel has. Feels like a robot.

Bed is small , good that ceiling is very high to compensate for the small size room. TV big enough with special channels. Hotel lift sharing with other commercial offices waiting for lift is quite long. Power outage scheduled in the middle of the night. Very close to transport and shopping and food.

These are small things but left an impression on me. The carpet was full of stains. The housekeeping staff left stickers patrons put on furniture. (It's the patrons' fault in the first place, but the staff should have removed them.) The front desk staff were not friendly. Considering most of Taiwanese people we encountered went out of their way to help us, the front desk staff's attitude was puzzling. The hotel is located across the street from the main train station so was very convenient. We had to go through the underground shopping center to cross the street and get to various train lines and bus terminal, which posed problems some times. (We got turned around.) Bring the conditioner! They provide shower gel and shampoo but not conditioner. Very odd.

I liked the property and the modern looking room with comfortable beds. I wish my room has a window and the fridge would work. The fridge door doesn’t close. The location was excellent!

The hotel is only good for its excellent location. It’s an old historical building, and the hotel is shared within office building. Need to either wait for very long for the lift or walk further down for a quicker lift. Most rooms do not have window. Soundproof is bad and you can easily hear it when someone uses socket/cupboard in another room or housekeeping in progress in another room. Everything inside the room is of bare minimum quality and not for comfortable stay.

Situated on the 3rd to 5th floors of a commercial building. Easy access to Taipei Main Station. Room is compact with clean bed linens. However, the flooring needs an upgrade and the soundproofing is inadequate. An unpleasant smell in the toilet due to sewage issues.

Location is excellent. Pretty good for one night stay. The water pressure in the toilet is very off. Hotel lobby can get very congested at peak hours. Windows are tinted and cannot be opened. There's more elevators for guests at the back (located in the middle of the mall).

The hotel room has no windows at all. It uses dark colors as the decor which makes the room even much darker. Hotel needs to let the guests know up front that there is no windows at all in their rooms.

The décor of the hotel was dark. The picture of the room on the website was not representative of the actual room. The window was of frosted glass, and immediately in front of A/C units, so you could not see out and there was little outside awareness. Having said that, the room was adequate, clean, and comfortable.

Uncomfortable stay
If you’re a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. During my 4 nights stay I had to go to the front desk twice to complain the noise next door. They only use a dividers for their rooms so you can really hear the noise in the next room. There’s no window in our room as well. Coffee, tea, water, toiletries and slippers are being replenished everyday. They do daily house keeping as well. The hotel location is great as it is only few steps from the metro. Metro Z2 exit is just outside the hotel but we often use the M6 exit. Just take note that the hotel front desk is located at 5th floor and if the elevators are packed, there are another elevators somewhere in the middle of the building. There is Family Mart just outside the hotel.

Overall it is not bad, I would rate it a 3/5 Price 4/5 The price is reasonable and for this price you are getting a decent size room with an excellent location. Location 5/5 The MRT entrance is literally in front of the hotel. To get here, simply find Z2 exit and your hotel is in front of you. Z2 exit also have an elevator which should help with your luggage Facility 3/5 Standard facility here. you have microwave, laundry (which is always full btw). Please note that the elevator in front of the building is always full but you can walk to the back of the building, there are 3 more elevators. Cleanliness 2/5 The worst thing about the hotel is the carpet that doesn't seem to ever be vacuumed. It is so dirty I had to wear my socks all the time. Same goes with the carpet outside.

do not book this property if you want or expect to get a good nights sleep. The walls are super thin. You can hear every noise from the adjacent rooms. You can hear the guest sneeze, snore, and blink. This is an addition to the hallway noise. in addition, most rooms have no windows. This is the only the second hotel I booked that was absent of windows.

Hotel Stay Opposite Taipei Main Station
Link underpass to Taipei main station, Hotel front desk need to take lift to 5F. Surrounding got a lot local eatery and a big shopping mall Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and convenient store family Mart just beside the hotel. Only downside was twin room only provide 1 room key card.

I booked a room with windows, but was told at check-in that the windows can’t be opened. It turned out that it was worse than no window. The windows were tainted and painted over. Natural light could barely be through. Yet, standing trash outside of the windows was unmistakable.
