Great location, and near transport and food options. Value for money. Staff were friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Downsides were lack of laundry service (they have only one washer for the whole hotel and no dryer), and also the card-enabled door lock is faulty. The safe in the room also does not work.

Nice little hotel in the "Japanese area"
Cute little hotel in the Japanese area of Taipei. The room was cozy and comfortable (I guess all the rooms are), the bathroom is set window-side with view. The only shortcoming is that the door does not screen out noise from the corridor at all, and the door-locking system clicks really loudly, so staying in the room means hearing people talking and doors banging. If neighbors are quiet and careful when closing their door, it should be find (but it's not always the case...).

Considering the low price they offer, the hotel room is ok, condition is a bit old. Location is convenient, but for adults only since there are night clubs ladies clubs everywhere in this area.

The location was great to hop on the MRT, it’s about a 10 minute walk to the Red line. It’s a 20 minute walk away from a small Night market. The hotel is below a strip of bars so it got a little loud at night time. The staff was very friendly and Helpful with anything we needed. There is no physical “bathroom” but it’s just a glass wall with a curtain to close off the rest of the room when your friends or family Uses the bathroom. Overall I would Stay here again if I return. Thank you for a great stay!

Cozy Room
Cozy and modern hotel in convenient location in Taipei. Rooms are smaller size, but very nice room & comfortable bed and bathroom is very modern. Highly recommend.

Hotel Room door knob lock
I have to say it was a nice hotel room except for the bathroom lock has an issue. It was unable to lock it from the inside. I was using the bathroom, had locked than my cousin friend had just open it thinking no one was in it. Good thing I had finished using it or she'll see me using #1. I was a bit embarrassed thinking I didn't lock it right but all along it was a broken door knob lock. I had found out by testing myself!

Transparent bathroom
The girl at the concierge was excellent and friendly, the room was ok with complimentary water and snacks! One problem was that the bathroom and shower room's walls were made of glass and totally transparent, so it was kind of awkward for us staying there as friends. However, overall the stay was great 👍

You get what you pay for. Comfortable enough. Very clean. Room is a bit small for 2 people. Front desk is polite. It’s located in a nightlife area which doesn’t seem dangerous. Easy access unless you need underground right at your doorsteps

The staff were very friendly & helpful, the location of the hotel was very good as it was close to everything near by. Check-in time is a little late as the room was only available from 3pm onwards (we arrived in the early morning so it was a little inconvenient). Everything is a 10/10 apart from the air-conditioning being a little poor although manageable. Have no problems staying here again, overall a good experience. Thank you Rose Boutique :)

comfortable hotel
A bit far from metro station, but still conveniently located. Many shops and small restaurant nearby. The room is a bit smaller than what it looks on the photo, but it is clean and comfortable. Bottled water and snacks are provided for free. Plus point: I could check in from 1 PM, which is earlier than most hotel.

OK Price, but Not OK Condition and Cleanliness.
The pictures are very misleading. The reception area does not look like what is shown in the picture at all. The actual rooms don't look as nice as shown in the pictures, as matter of fact, nowhere close to the pictures. My first room was so run down and dirty so the front desk gave me another room, which was only marginally better. The hallways have dirty carpets and dusty too. The entire hotel is seriously overdue for full renovation. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the subway station so it is convenient.

Comfy but molds on the wall, window in bathroom...
Hotel needs upgrade as there are molds on the wall of the room and the shower. It wasn’t pleasant to see them. When booking it’s stated in the details there was a window. Only to find out when we arrived, the window was in the bathroom. We booked for 4 nights and it was a regret as I feel depressed staying in a room without windows. Apart from that, everything else was OK. Bed was big and very cosy. We would recommend this place for those who aren’t fussy about having windows in the room and don’t mind seeing molds on the wall).

Nice small Boutique Hotel, good location
A small but neat hotel with perfect location. There are many establishments open till late in the surrounding, but it wasn't noise at all. The staff at the front-desk spoke English, which was a relief.

ou are good ... our business is forbidden to smoke in the hall ... may be the upper tenant smoke in the room we do not notice ..... we will strengthen the floor of the tour ... to avoid the same in the same The problem arises ... if there is smoke in the room .. After the guests check out the room staff will use the air net new machine to deal with bad taste ... and you still have to smell the smoke when you enter the room You feel uncomfortable and we are deeply sorry ... we will pay more attention to the quality and smell of the room ... the company is very attentive to the guest's stay ... let you feel uncomfortable with this we are deeply sorry. Please also forgive me ... we will tell us more attention to the affairs of the staff!

It is my 3rd stay with Rose. Love the themed-room with comfy beddings and clean bathroom. All the staff are really very helpful and polite. Watson is just round the corner. There are many convenience stores and eateries around. Will definitely be back again.

I stayed two nights. It was ok. The location is a little difficult to find the first time but once you figure it out it's a convenient location for walking around, restaurants, and activity. The staff were as helpful as they could be but language was an issue. The room itself was ok, not bad for the price. The "breakfast" was not good. Overall I'd say it was not bad but not good either.

Nice hotel close to everything
Hotel provide free laundry and breakfast. It wI'll be more comfortable if no carpet. It need renovation, replace all carpet with titles that will make it will more like home.

Small, clean and convenient hotel in Taipei
Hotel is about 5 min walk from MRT station. It is a little street, but it has a large sign at the corner of the street, pointed the direction. It does not have its own place to serve breakfast, so, a simple, but tasty breakfast (sandwich and soybean drink) is delivered outside of our room around 7AM. I like the location and will stay there next time.

- Staff was awesome! - They didn't speak much English but using google translate, we communicated with no problem - They were eager to assist and ensure I had all I needed - The room was clean and modestly spacious - The bed was very comfortable - Hotel is located close to shops, restraunt and a park - The Metro was about a 10 min walk but lots to see and do along the way

Read below
PROS: 1. They have a pretty decent hair dryer so no need to bring your own. 2. Close to restaurants and Zhongshan shopping district (big mall and stores) 3. Only the ladies are nice there. 4. Rooms are pretty quiet. CONS: 1. Even though there are smoke free rooms, they still smell like heavy smoke and for rooms without the smell once you turn on the AC you will smell it somehow. Maybe I'm just picky or nose is too sensitive. 2. For lazy people like me, the MRT is like a 10 minute walk. If it wasn't too humid it'd be okay. 3. They have a laundry machine but it's a small washer+dryer in one. Terrible machine because clothes didn't come out clean and took too long to dry. Machine doesnt unlock until it senses no more water or if it's dry enough to open. This takes like 5 mins and when it finally unlocks clothes are still not dry. We are talking about taking 2+ hrs to do a small laundry batch. Plus, there's hair and other dirty stuff inside so I didn't bother and found a 24H laundromat 5 mins away. 4. I heard thru some people that they provide breakfast but that's not true. 5. Small rooms are too small.
