We have stayed here for 4 nights ( Room 501) Good : location , room is big Bad : 1. The hotel is in an office building so it had to share only 1 elevator and waiting time is very long. 2. Room has everything but not working 3. Found mouldy bathroom shower curtain 4. The design of the bathtub is very strange, as long as the water around the bathtub when showered . This is not very good maintenance and professional hotel . I believe you can find other hotel with same price but better quality in this area .

Hotel area is perfact spot .Mrt sation is nearby ,one stop to Taipei main ststion. Frontdesk Staffs are friendly and helpful. XIMENTING is near too. I wiil stay here again in future.🙂

Handy location but needs heating in colder months
Location of the hotel was good, just a short walk from Ximending and also walking distance to Taipei Main Station (10-12 mins). Hotel itself and rooms was fine though though there was no heating in the rooms (only AC) so the rooms were absolutely freezing in the evenings. Also housekeeping left dirty coffee cups uncleaned for first 2 days stay-only after I had to go to reception to complain were they replaced and cleaned in subsequent days.

Stayed 2nights. The triple room was clean. Good location which cross street to Ximending walking area and MRT. Staffs are friendly and nice. Breakfast is ok.

Training hotel staff
All staff at the hotel is superficial. Reception staff needs training in handling enquiry, lack of enthusiasm and knowledge. Restaurant staff needs to be trained in speaking tactically esp advising guests to leave restaurant after breakfast hours.

Hotel charge early check-in
Location is convenient to restaurants and shops. Room is comfortable. Check in time is very straight at 2 pm regardless if guests arrive early or not. After a long flight we arrived hotel and asked if there was room available for early check in. The answer was early check in charged by the hour at TWD 200 per hour. We paid extra TWD 600 (about US$22) to check in at 11 am. Usually hotel can accommodate guest to check in early if there is room available but not this one!

Good location
i checked in after a 15 hour flight with my family. Needed two room keys and both did not work. Was never activated. Then later asked the receptionists if I could order pineapple cake to be delivered to hotel? They didn’t understand?

Overall a good stay at Tai Sugar Hotel. The only suggestion that I have is that the hotel could have provided a extension cord for the desk. There is only one electric power socket for the desk lamp at the desk.

직원들 친절하고 트렁크 보관서비스가 있어서 좋아요! 시먼딩 도보거리 굿. 침대 매트리스도 라텍스라 편안해요. 뜨거운물 잘 나오고 매일 깔끔하게 청소해줘요. 포함된 조식은 별로 입맛에 안맞아 아쉬웠구요. 가장 아쉬운 점은 bath towel인데, 냄새가 나고 세탁이 덜 된 느낌이라 불편했어요.

今次是我在西門町住過最差的酒店。 我們早了1小時到酒店check-in，櫃檯小姐同我們講要等到三點先可以俾房我哋，叫我哋先辦手續三點回來取房。到我們回來取房，那位小姐拿了一份其他人的資料和我們核對，我們說她搞錯了，她就繼續找，過了一陣她說找不到，叫我們係大堂等，終於10多分鐘之後找到了🙄。到第二天早上去吃早餐，未到餐廳門口，已經比佢哋員工大聲呼喝，問你哋哪間房😤，早餐又不好食所以就無再去。到下午回房，入去洗手間就見到佢哋清潔完的毛巾放喺洗手盆，枱面無清潔 😤😤。最好笑是打電話同佢講你哋放咗啲毛巾喺我哋房入邊，佢員工入來取回就只係不停講條毛巾唔係佢，係咩意思呀🤔？一點歉意都沒有。 一定不要入住這酒店，員工差，冇禮貌，不清潔，隔音差。

房間內的設備差，我當日入住322房間廁所燈壞，光線暗黑，令人看不清楚。風筒是固定於廁所位置，火力太弱，長髮女士吹髮要佔很長時間希望可以改善。早餐除豬腳外，其他真的很差，建議減省早餐供應，廁紙很粗劣抹手全是紙碎。櫃枱員工及清潔人員很好。

暖房設備がないので、冬はちょっと寒いです。朝食はあまり新鮮な食材が少なく、冷凍食品が多く、ちょっと残念です。 交通アクセスはいいですが、駅に近い入り口を閉鎖していてやや不便です。
