Found a cockroach dead in the bathroom and highlighted it to the staff but nothing was done about it despite them saying it will be sorted which was very disappointing. Paid extra for the breakfast but I wouldn't recommend it. Very limited breakfast and doesn't cater for majority of diets. Location was quite good as shops and markets were close by. "Very hip and nice breakfast buffet. The WXYZ bar great. The Chef Bob, Sharron and bar staff are amazing. Front desk staff are great and the security, housecleaning and weight staff great. Love pools. Infinity pool, jacuzzi and gym as well. Staff cartridges so convenient and so many suggestions for things to do and go. Launderer very efficient and done well. Highly recommend plus water sports and beach is so wonderful. Langkawi people are great"

"Such a lovely resort with a beautiful beach. Staff were very helpful. The kids loved it. Other than swimming, there isn’t aren’t very many activities. My wife felt the spa and dining options were limited. But I just enjoyed it as a place to truly relax and unwind away from the crowds. A very special resort."

"From the moment we arrived and warmly welcomed it was clear to us that this was more than just a hotel, it was a luxury experience. The resort was absolutely beautiful, the staff utterly amazing and the service impeccable. I have stayed in many resorts and hotels, often on the higher end of the scale, but nothing has come close to this. Simply put, it is the best hotel I have every stayed in, period. A huge personal thank you goes out to Torun, Zia and Prakash from Housekeeping, Suhayl and the Horizon Pool and Bar Team, and last but certainly not least, the entire staff at the Langkawi Kitchen. Staying here was the absolute standout highlight of a beautiful 2 week vacation in Malaysia, and we look forward to staying here again in the future. A beautiful experience that we both will remember for a very long time."

"The hotel was clean and contemporary. It was sea facing and situated quite nicely to the best sunset view, fire show, food and shopping. The prices in Langkawi are much more reasonable. The hotel wasn't secluded, and I couldn't have picked a better hotel in langkawi. The hotel extended our check out till 2pm, which meant we could sleep in, rest, and feel more relaxed. Thank you, Mecure hotel."
