Great for single travelers. Close to the West Entrance to Ikebukero Station which makes it easy to get anywhere in Tokyo. Ikebukero has lots to offer…shopping, dining, parks.

Excellent place to stay.

The staff was polite and excellent, especially when you can speak Japanese. Quite good balance of price/service, will definitely go back myself. Too many adult business around, so I wouldn't pick this location if it's a family travel with young kids.

Great location, helpful staff. If we stay here again, we will choose a larger room, as the one we booked had a space capsule effect and where the bed was situated so that a couple can only get out one side.

Nice hotel closed to Ikebukuro Staion

The place is well equipped and I had a very relaxing stay. It was a cost-effective place to stay. The room is comfortable with everything you need within.Besides it is just 5-10 min away walking to Ikebukuro Station depending on the train line.

Great APA hotel. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room has been recently renovated, so it was very comfortable. Train station is close and easy to walk to. A small hotel but still nice.

Affordable but not necessarily clean

There was no air conditioning, only heater. They only cleaned the room 1x in my whole 5-day stay. Receptionist was friendly especially those in charge of luggage drop (after checkin). Location was good, just a few steps away from Don Quijote.

staff was very polite, helpful and professional. don’t plan to wash clothes here. there’s only one washer and dryer. the dryer was on for 1 hour and i still had to hang my cloths on hangers and hooks around the room

The only true downside was having a single elevator on the property, peak hours around check in and check out had a decent amount of wait time. However what makes up for that is an amazing location near a great cocktail bar and walking distance to the station. The breakfast during my stay was salt or soy sauce Ramen, both of which were fine for the price being an extra charge on my stay.

This was a great 2 week stay in the first part of my solo travel. Being located near Ikebukuro Station made it super easy and convenient to make a base of travel to other locations within Tokyo. There's lots of shopping nearby and food to eat as well. There's large department stores, a Don Quijote just behind, and plenty of local groceries and bakeries as well. The staff were great and helpful as well as the cleaning staff that were very polite and always greeted you. Except that one non-Japanese guy, he spoke English with the other staff. He seemed aloof and made no effort at greeting or anything, but he's insignificant and I just wanted to point that out as compared to the rest of the staff that were amazing. He didn't seem to like working there or want to be there, maybe a change in scenery would be best for him. Rooms were clean upon arrival and served their purpose as a place to sleep, shower, bathroom, and kill time watching anime. Good selection of free VODs, needs more variety in anime though because six months later and only Sailor Moon and Slam Dunk have been added into the mix. No major issue, just food for thought. I slept well, showered well, and had fun with the bidet. Overall great experience, will repeat. Some people should not though and need to look in a mirror about their common sense, decency, and courtesy as well as consideration for others staying at the same hotel.

We stayed there for 2 nights and found this hotel was very cosy and convenient as it is small but close to the Ikebukuro station. The cleanliness was good but it could be better if they vacuum the floor underneath the bed as we used it for our luggage and found it a bit dirty. Overall it was a good experience and is definitely recommended!
