Excellent staffs, services are superb, great location close to 2 Tokyo metro stations within 5minutes walk. Overall lighting just too dark all over from lobby to elevator, hallways to room are inadequate, the lighting represents a haunted house in a horror movie. It’s is a good place to stay for a couple nights since sightseeing in Tokyo occupied most time of the day . Price and location are good for budget travelers

Great area to stay in - 2 min walk from subway with a ton of restaurants, bars, convenience stores and pharmacies along the strip. Room was serviced during our stay and they tidied up every day as well. Highly recommend. Staff were very welcoming and accommodated various requests.

Quiet hotel in a nice neighbourhood and very close to the train station, also walkable to Tokyo Station/Ginza. Staff was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was small with tasty bread, but water and coffee was available throughout the day. There's a fridge in the room and the bed was comfortable. Great hotel in a convinient location for exploring Tokyo.

Great for the value

The staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the rooms need a little tlc. The paint is starting to peal away from the walls.

It is small room in comparison to western standards but convenient and very close to all facility's lets be honest who will spend all day in room when you are in Japan. Staff was very friendly and willing to assist in all enquiries. Basic breakfast is provided daily don't expect cooked meals e.g eggs.

The room is pretty clean, staff were nice and there were a lot of restaurants and convenient stores around, the subway was also just a few minutes away. The main issue i had with this hotel was the sound proofing. Unfortunately my room was located right in front of some cleaning closet, so almost every day at 5:30am i can hear a trolley being pulled and the door opening, its loud as if i am outside. I can also hear people laughing and talking outside, although its faint and i can sleep through it, other people may not be able to. The hallway is also an open concept, so you can hear other people on other floors. If some dude is being loud on another floor, you will be able to hear it. Also there is only one location for the outlet which is on the desk, that made it a bit of a hassle to charge electronics and blow dry your hair. Overall its a decent stay.

The rooms have a unique, retro design which is appealing, but they are in serious need of an update. The level of cleanliness was a bit questionable with lots of dust everywhere. The air conditioner also blew black dust everywhere. The breakfast option was also a bit sad with limited options, and no communal dining space, which means you must take food items back to your room.

The staff were nice, but the facility is old and run down. Our room was poorly cleaned and dirty. There was only one usable power socket, and every other power socket had a dusty rat’s nest of cables plugged into it that looked like a fire hazard. No refunds on cancellation, so look somewhere else. The cost per value is bad at this hotel, and you can get something better at a similar price in the same neighborhood.

Personally I really enjoyed this hotel. It was in a quiet area, it was a 2-minute walk to the station, there was a family Mart and several restaurants nearby. The staff was incredibly friendly, they spoke English, the cleaning staff was attentive, my room was big. The only thing I had issue with was the internet which went out all the time. I didn't ask about it, but yeah it wasn't a very stable connection so my phone was always disconnecting. But overall, I would totally stay here again

Overall good except breakfast

Comfortable room with very convenient location close to Akasaka-Mitsuke station. I wanted a hotel that provided breakfast. Many business hotels do this in Japan. Typically this will include rice, bread, fish, meat, salad, fruit, yoghurt etc. However, the only thing on offer here was some bread rolls with tea or coffee. Not what I wanted and very disappointing.

Staff are very attentive, room is very clean and most important is it is close to everything,train station,restaurant.the hotel is located to all convinient store, pharmacy,seven eleven store, grocery and more. If we will go back to Japan again, Granbell hotel will be my first choice.

Self served breakfast was fair. Simple but convenient. Good spot with easy transportation and versatile dining options Overall is excellent. The room is not too spacious, but considering the location and price it is acceptable.
