The facilites are great for the price paid. However you must be careful to use additional services because you could be charged. I Asked for a clearance statement to make sure I did not have extra charges at check out, but the clerk refused to give it to me. Other hotels did.
The 2 bunk + couch bed is an excellent choice for families traveling.
The space was definitely adequate for my party of 4 (including 3 large luggage, 2 medium luggage, 3 carry-on roller bags, and of course daily backpacks)
The bathroom was spacious and the toilet room and bathroom were separate which was convenient. The shower head water pressure was also good and was also very quiet.
The room could have been slightly cleaner but considering a lot of cost-effective hotels in Japan are meant for 1 or 2 people, there was very little to complain about for my 5-person room. Also this room was on the first floor and the bottom of the door still had enough crack space to let a bug or 2 in the room. Not a deal-breaker but I did have to remove a spider during our stay.
The concierge was great and very accomodating. You can leave your luggage with the front desk staff while you walk around so long as you have future accomodations or it's your checkout day. Even if you don't speak Japanese they are very accomodating using a translation device.
Also the AC can get very cold and anyone who visits Japan between June to September will desperately need a good working AC so bonus star on this one.
There's also a coin laundry in the basement which was convenient
All in all a great stay and I would stay there again. The only thing I would change is plugging the bottom of the door to prevent bugs from getting in, but a small issue overall.
The kitchen was great for day where we wanted to stay in while it stormed outside, cut back on cost on ordering take out since the store was right in front to quickly pick up some items. Though it was confusing at first how to get plates and cutlery from the hotel.
The room was great! We were a family of three and they had three beds for us. It was really quiet, in a residential area more than a commercial area. We did not cook but this place had a hot plate and a couple pots and pans, a rice cooker and a strong air fan/vent and a sink in the kitchen area so you could easily cook if you wanted. And about 2-3 blocks away, there were many choices of restaurants to eat. We stayed 4 nights here and really enjoyed our stay at this hotel as the layout was good and there were many places to store and put things away. I would highly recommend this hotel. At this hotel, they do not come to clean your room during your stay but you can easily exchange your wet towels for new ones at reception. And they will empty your garbage if you put it out by 12 pm. It was close to a metro station but it was difficult to deal with luggage and all yhe stairs from the station so be prepared for that.
A great centrally based hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff we very friendly and helpful, spoke enough English to assist us with our inquiries. There is a wonderful supermarket across the street where you can find anything you may need. Located a short walk from the Iidabashi train station that can take you anywhere in the city. Lots of restaurants to choose from within a 10 minute walk of the hotel.
