I will ensure that housekeeping check the mattress in the room you had - we do have mattress toppers available for customers who prefer a softer mattress.I am sorry that you thought our prices were expensive - a pint of Carling is 4.70 in our hotel bars and a pint of Guinness is 5.50 which we believe are competitive prices for hotels and bars in Torquay. Thank you for your review. All our bedroom windows have limited opening for health and safety reasons however each room is equipped with a fan to assist air circulation when the weather is hot.

Wile we appreciate that no one likes to pay for parking this does mean that our customers have found it significantly easier to park on site.

Thank you for your feedback. We have changed our restaurant service to a buffet style service however we do train our teams to offer a table service for customers who need assistance. I have passed on your feedback regarding the mattress to our team to allow them to change it. Mattress toppers are available if guests prefer a softer mattress.

We also give guests who have pre-booked meals their own tables throughout their stay. This system is generally preferred by guests however if anyone wishes a different table or different area of the dining room our team will be happy to help.We do hope you will return to us in the future as we are continuously investing in the property and have a planned programme of refreshment and refurbishment.

Thank you for your feedback. You are correct that the corridors are narrow - the building originates from the 1800's however our facilities are very modern and really can't be beaten. Hopefully you had a chance to enjoy a swim in one of our 3 pools, or have a drink al fresco on our large terrace or maybe you were able to use our spa and and thermal suite offering a Fire and Ice experience. We also have a full programme of day time activities and nightly entertainment.which customers enjoy so much more than 70% repeat their booking with us. Thank you for staying with us and we do hope that you will consider The Derwent or one of the other TLH hotels if you return to Torquay.
