"We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel and the staff was really lovely, patient and helpful. I misread the French menu and didn’t see that they didn’t have a main course option which I could choose as a pescatarian, and they made a last minute substitution perfectly. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a restful getaway to opt for Volando. Our only suggestion is if there could be a gym added (but the surroundings are perfect for hiking)! "

"Lovely hotel with a hearty breakfast and great service. I was very impressed by the in-room tub with onsen water piped in. My room was facing the river with great views and sound of the falls, but I noticed some room facing the road which may not beas great."

"We stayed in room 311. The aircon of the room was very bad. Totally poor. It got so bad that we have to get a fan. It is summer, the hotel can do better than to control the aircon at such a high temperature. To be honest, the hotel lobby is so much cooler. "

"Like most places in Wulai, the price for this place was VERY overpriced. VERY expensive for what you get. The room is basic, but you get a hot spring's bathtub big enough for 3 adults to relax in. The breakfast was listed as a continental breakfast - they had typical Taiwanese breakfast food but also served scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and coffee. The only problem is the food is cold. They don't keep it hot for you, they just put it all in metal containers without any heater and customers...

"The room is so different from what the picture shows . It’s really old and dirty . The bed sheet , pillow stinks . Room signs said that hotel provide free shuttle to bus station yet we still get charged for it . Totally don’t worth the price "

"The condition of the room and hot spring facilities in the room were fine. The shower head didn't work though. At check in hotel staff had the wrong name on our reservation and it took longer to check in. Breakfast was a plus. A passable place for an overnight stay in Wulai."
