"We absolutely loved our stay at Batu Karang. The room itself was lovely, spacious, well appointed and clean and tidy. The property itself is well positioned at the end of the beach, the pools are great, staff super friendly and accommodating"

"The view and restaurant is indeed lovely and breakfast was good. Unfortunately the resort is not suitable for anyone who isn't completely mobile or elderly.  The numerous stairs, especially without any hand railings made it a struggle and unsafe.  This includes the lower pool, where there is no railing to get out of the pool. I had also expected that the resort/my room would be in the beach.  This isn't the case.  While I had an ocean view, it was obstructed, and getting to the beach required a walk back to the pool, then down the stairs.  Rather disappointing as the photos show something else. And be aware that the stairs going to the bathroom at night are somewhat inconvenient. It's a 3 star hotel, so that's what you're paying for, even despite getting the deluxe ocean view cabin."

"Nice pool with sufficient number of loungers. Breakfast was just ok as some baked goods were not fresh, and quality overall just ok. Would have loved a better selection of fruit and fresh fruit juice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious but washroom small. Convenient to walk to many restaurants and stores."

"Loved the staff, the breakfasts, the afternoon teas, our private pool and all the little details that made our stay special. Some general maintenance of the infrastructure would further improve the property but this did not stand in the way of us loving our stay."

"The experience was way beyond expectations once we got off the rough windy road to Arna. The service was up to top Bali standards. The location was the most awesome I have experienced in traveling the world. You couldn’t ask for better scenery. The pool and lounge were top shelf. The food great and that’s coming from very picky eaters. It’s a fantastic place to go to relax and wind down. I recommend spending the extra for a fantastic ocean view cabana. You won’t regret it. "

"Amazing stay! The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking it truly feels like a 5-star experience. Every small detail is thoughtfully taken care of, which makes the stay even more special. The staff are extremely kind, polite, and always ready to help. The spa service was one of the highlights, so relaxing and well done. I also loved that they had Indian food options on the menu, which made things even more comfortable. A big shoutout to Nanda, Karisma, and Koning for making the experience so memorable. Koning, in particular, was exceptional with the spa service!"

"Firstly the staff were lovely BUT the ocean view pool villa was nothing like the photos on Expedia. The photos show a beautiful view from the villa and the pool, we got the villa with another building straight in front that blocked the view, very deceiving photos. Also building works going on all day, 112 steps down to the beach and restaurants, 63 steps up to the road. We did not know about the steps so this limited our outings, not recommended for older people like ourselves."
