"Hotel is the top floors of an older hotel or inn so the entrance is a narrow staircase between a Starbucks and small Tesco. However, once you're upstairs the main dinning room/ bar/ reception is cozy and old fashioned. Check in was quick/easy, and our room (#9) was typical of this type of hotel. An old room with fireplace, converted to include a small internal bathroom w/ shower. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet despite it overlooking railway station and pedestrian precinct. "Very convenient and good value for money if you’re professional and working a lot of hours in the area. Very modest, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially one member of the staff who found me extra pillows very late at night. "

"I booked a triple room for myself and 2 teenage children for a trip to Alton Towers from Ireland. On arrival there was 1 double bed and when I asked, they gave me a camp bed for my 6'3 son. I paid for a proper bed, not a camp bed that the springs popped on every time he sat on it. The room smelt musty and when I questioned it they said it was from the carpet in the hall, but there was must marks on the walls in the bedroom. No breakfast provided, which I was not made aware of and reception not...

"Id booked a single room with onsuite bathroom, and i got exactly what i was asking for. Clean, comfortable and very easy to access even though the hotel is unstaffed (no reception). Id recommend this hotel to all, but make sure you read the info provided as to the facilities so you are not disappointed or surprised on arrival. I will be staying there again in the future, its got everything I need. The custome service was top notch too when i contacted them. Fast and efficient. "
