"The Clarendon is very handy for the centre of Blackheath and the staff are always helpful and approachable. Despite two major Saturday evening functions our first floor room was remarkably quiet. Bathroom facilities are on the small side and the water pressure was low when we were there making showering difficult. The hotel was obviously full last weekend and Sunday breakfast slow, with certain items not available. Minor drawbacks compared with the hotel's convenience for our purpose. "

"My stay was fine. There's some renovation work in the building next door and that was LOUD in the AM. Not the hotel's fault. The solo room is definitely cramped, but it works for short stays. Convenient location. Only noteworthy matter is that there are no USB outlets in the room, so bring a wall plug or conversion if necessary to charge your devices."

"The property is undergoing some renovations but you can’t really hear any of the noise and the renovations that are being done to the rooms are extremely nice, especially the big walk in shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This was my 2nd time staying at this property and I would definitely stay here again on any future trips to London."
