"Host was very welcoming and property unique. Host was informative and always on hand to answer any questions. Complimentary small bottle of wine went down well and was a nice touch. Hotel and rooms were spotless, cleaned and re-stocked every day. Bathroom provided everything you could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel was a beautiful old restored house. There wasn’t a lot of storage space in the room for belongings, and the en-suite was cosy. A good shower. Good breakfast, The hosts were very friendly, and helpful about things to do in the area. "

"TV didn’t work in the room for the first two nights. Staff initially offered to move us to a new room but then retracted the offer and instead offered a key to a room with a tv until they could fix it the next day. Not a great solution."

"Stayed in the townhouse with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The townhouse was beautiful AND comfortable. The unit had a combo washer/dryer and a full kitchen. One thing to keep in mind, the unit has 3 levels and lots of steps. Local tours meet right outside your windows but it is kind of fun to listen to the stories. The staff was phenomenal. Went above and beyond in helping us celebrate our 30th Anniversary. "

"Excellent refurb. Not stayed for many years but a vast difference from the Golf Inn days. Only point might be its a bit pricey in the Stables restaurant.. Also need stronger coffee in the mornings - stick an extra spoon in the pot please!"

"The hotel was supposed to be in a central location but it was 12 minutes walk to the shops and then a further 12 minutes walk to the bars, so it was too much effort to go out for a beer and something to eat on Saturday night. In cold weather conditions, you really needed to take a taxi everywhere. It was deadly quiet too with no atmosphere. In fact, it was more akin to a gentleman's club, rather than a hotel.
