Absolutely beautiful hotel. Very difficult to not fall in love with it. Ron, the assistant manager, greeted me very warmly upon my arrival and showed me around. I stayed in a suite on a 25th floor. Absolutely beautiful! If that’s not enough, there is a Spectacular view from the rooftop pool, and a happy hour on the 26th floor. Breakfast is on the same floor as a happy hour, with hours between 7 am and 5 pm. Many a la carte options, with a few buffet options till 11 am as well.

Second stay at 137 Pillars, this time we tried the Suites which give access to the amazing infinity pool at the rooftop. When we visited during sunset, we were treated with some stunning views of the city. All the staff were very nice and always able to help with all our needs. Will be back again.

This was one of the most incredible properties we’ve stayed at, and their honeymoon setup was the cherry on top. Beautiful & extravagant suite exceeded our expectations. Amazing service from our arrival to departure from friendly staff. Enjoyed the cocktail hour and complimentary refreshments available at the lovely suites lounge. Will absolutely stay here again next trip to Bangkok. Thank you!

It is advertised that we have a butler. The 24 hour butler line is just the front desk and unfortunately, the front desk staff all have an attitude and provide terrible service. The in-suite dining food is inedible. The location is far from the city centre.

I have just stayed at 137 suites with my partner & we are absolutely blown away by the level of service you receive. From check in to check out everything was perfect.. nothing was ever to much trouble for the amazing staff who went above and beyond every time. In particular our butler gift was amazing, friendly & extremely helpful. The hotel itself is spotless, modern & the views are beautiful (in particular the roof top pool). We wished we stayed longer! Words can’t describe how incredible this staff was. Ive stayed at hotels around the world with a few more amenities but the attention to detail from the staff has to make this one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was spectacular, the rooftop pool view is probably one of the best views in the city and it’s not crowded like most of the other infinity pool views.

The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, though the carpeting had visible stains and the audio system wasn’t always working. Smart phones to communicate with staff were in our rooms upon arrival, but we removed the next day for updates and never returned over the remaining three days of our stay. Laundry wasn’t done in a timely manner as promised (turned in by 9 am returned by 6 pm same day, regular service). While the staff was warm and friendly, getting transpiration to take us places, without having to pay 3 times the regular taxi fare was a challenge (this maybe a Bangkok problem, not specific to the hotel).

If you have a good budget, this is a place you must at least stayed once. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. We were well being taken care off. From checking in till we checked out. Amazing view from the room, unbeatable infinity pool on the rooftop. And the spa was just magnificent. Highly recommended to any couple who is looking for a place to spend their holiday.

A great hotel, not yet excellent
We decided to stay in the Suites rather than residences. I few perks were access to the rooftop infinity pool, breakfast, afternoon tea, sundown happy hour at the Baan Borneo, butler service and use of the London Cab. We were greeted by our butler upon arrival, who also checked us in. The room we booked was fairly clean and spacious and evening snacks were delivered upon turn-down (except for the last night - who knows why they had forgotten to turn down my room?). There is an excellent choice of meals for breakfast. Hot food is ordered from a menu and the kitchen cooks it for you.The London Cab was useful to be brought to Emquartier (which is too far and warm to enjoy a 15 minute walk) at anytime within its operating hours as opposed to their timed shuttle. It was a fairly enjoyable stay, if it weren't for a few minor staff issues that made us feel comfortable.

Hidden Bangkok Gem
This hotel in a quiet location, some way away from Bangkok’s main points of interest and I understand that this is a concern for some, but rest assured that there is easy access to public transportation whether by the hotel’s free shuttle services (Jimmy is a nice touch!) to the BTS; by cabs, or by an easy walk. The upscale malls Emporium and Emquartier (where the shuttle drops you off) offer well-curated shopping and dining options. Check-in was handled quickly and efficiently by Jazzy, who was only too happy to answer our questions. The hotel itself is beautiful the rooms are big, well-laid-out, and the views from the room are killer. Speaking of views, the ones from the rooftop pool are to die for; it’s easy to forget what a thrumming and buzzy city Bangkok is from that vantage point, because the vibe is so just so chill. The drinks from the bar are great, too! We stayed in the suites, and breakfast at the Leonowens Club was amazing; I honestly couldn’t fault a thing. While not a sprawling buffet (and in Bangkok, these are aplenty), the hotel’s breakfast offering was delicious, freshly-prepared, and customizable to your preference! Afternoon tea and pre-dinner cocktails were a similar high standard. A special mention to the pastry team cause the sweets were always so delectable, of course, thank you, Bun for the lovely concoctions! Definitely a great stay and a hotel that is unreservedly recommended!
