Very good spot, only problem was that my air conditioner kept leaking every day pretty much. Other than that it was a pleasant stay with amazing staff! Great price too!

The staff were really polite and went out of their way to be helpful. Room was clean, and the beds were amongst the most comfortable I’ve been in in a hotel in a long time. Lots of convenient touches like vanity mirrors, smart TV, and USB charging ports in the nightstands. Location is ok, close to the SkyTrain and lots of stores and restaurants around, but far from any touristy things.

Rm 702 = same showerdoor entry problem, as Rm 402
visited bkk & stayed here, many times this year & historically. Rm 702 has a better toilet-bowl placement, than Rm 402. However, both Rm 702 suffers from the SAME glass showerdoor -entry& -exit, with a small than average entrance. If you was a person of larger diminsions, you would suffer here. Once again, problem can be resolved , by RAISING the glass shelving by OVER 15cm !! Otherwise... staff, service, location & amenities are all excellent. Not many faults, but these can be resolved quickly...! Good luck, Hotel Amber !

Shower cubicle could have bigger entrance
visited bkk & stayed at Hotel Amber many times.. room upgraded to suite 402. spacious & clean as always. Only 2 problems: location of toilet-bowl , too close to hand basin (due to plumbing) & the entrance to shower cubicle for a large-person is a “tight-squeeze”. If glass shelving was raised by 15cm, problem would be solved. Otherwise location to train, shops, restaurants & downtown is perfect.

Hotel was clean and staff was incredibly helpful and polite. Walking distance to many different restaurants. Also very close to a mall with many different food options. Hotel is on a side street near the main road so while convenient the area was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal and a great price.

nothing really bad to say. room was clean, tidy; staff are efficient & friendly. Photos of rooms are accurate. Location close to Lotus & BTS rail, 3x conveni stores closeby too. Quiet enough , away from main road.. but accessable.

Room was very nice. We stayed in a corner suite with our 1 year old. Bed was super comfy, staff kind and helpful. Can’t fault anything, we really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant had great food too.

Misleading and no pool no restaurant good for basic and prime location however maids are ok although when translating n being called an immigrant by staff who we give money too yeh Loved it haha and no there are others that are more established and better value for your money. MISLEADING DUE TO POOR FACILITIES N MAIDS BEING RUDE do your research and turning up and being told you have everything in reality just a room n big bed and bathroom

Very disappointing
Hotel did not advise of renovations to pool, restaurant and hotel and were not willing to compensate and said we could move to another hotel. We booked 3 rooms and there were 4 kids, 4 adults including two seniors in our party and as we were there for two days it was hardly worth moving to another hotel. As it rained a lot we had to stay indoors and listen to renovation works. We had to eat breakfast that we paid for in our room. I would not stay here again as I feel the hotel could have been honest about the reno works and not disappoint guests.
