I’ve stayed at the Ibis connected to this hotel many times & enjoyed it. I wanted to try the Mercure side and loved it as much. I’ve only stayed at the Mercure in Paris and this location has the same great staff, feel and experience. I highly recommend.

Great value for money for a 4-star hotel chain
Hotel was comfortable, good-sized rooms in an excellent location with 2 streets of massage choices right outside the hotel. There seems to be a slight sewage smell on some days though and the sink is too wide - gave me a backache reaching to use the tap daily.

poor breakfast- not enough fruit
I can't believe there is only small apportion of fruit at breakfast in Thailand!!! This hotel put there tiny slides of fruit in a small plate. OMG! Really?!

Avoid Mercur in Bangkok
The hotel to 3000 baht and I checked in as a deposit on room charges. Why checked out? They wanted the card again to charge me one more time instead of charging the transaction against the deposit on the room. I've never been to any other property that does that Hyatt Marriott etc. And of course the general manager wasn't around to discuss. I'll email the CEO of Mercur directly.

Room was spacious and clean. Staffs are very friendly and always at our service. Minutes of walking to BTS station, department stores, restaurants, street food, decent massage places. The only complaint we had was the delay on getting the room upon checking-in. We decided to walk around the area while waiting for the room the be available so it worked out in the end.

Check in was terrible, staff just don’t care the hotel has way too many people. Room was clean to be fair, but electricity switch off and on every two hour, which means the TV will switch on automatically when you sleep. Call staff no body come for the entire stay. Good hotel but poor service. I made a complaint but seems no body cares, include their manager
