Great location for staying near Victoria GHardens and BigC Phetkasem. Not a great hotel - but good enough for a short stay.

We have stayed at penyos many times. It is very fare from the city but okay for us as we worked in the area. The staff is okay but speak very little english after 9PM zero english. The reason for the 1 star is owner Pete and the way he does business. Hi like to argue with us as customers and make us feel like he does not really want us there. One time he even ask a lady to come to our room with a credit card machine asking us to pay for room even though I told him I was working and would be down in shortly.
To crown it the cleaning personal stold my 150 dollar perfume!

Just to wrap up on what happened shortly. Nichlas and his partner stayed with us quite a few weeks. He asked for more discounted if he booked directly, not through OTAs, we gave him 10%, he asked for more, I gave him 15%, he asked even more, I gave him 20% as a final offer, but with only one compulsory rule that is to pay prior staying.
Nichlas keeps saying that the hotel cannot argue with customers but to listen.
At all time, he refused to pay before staying, lots of times happened. For the last time, he wanted us to show the room in another building as the normal room he prefers was occupied. We showed the room, but when the staff and him went down to reception (for finalizing the payment), he grabbed the key and went out of building without making a payment. I texted him before he came back to ask for making a payment, he refused and just went to the room without notifying anyone.
He claimed that the perfume was stolen, but our staff said there was no perfume in the room at the first place, I completely checked everything and did all the property searching, nothing found. I also informed him that he could possibly report to the police.
The last day before checking out, during the room inspection, he was a bit using high voice tone to our reception to make things fast as he said he was in a hurry. However, 5 minutes after that, he went to our coffee shop and did some flirting to our staff as well as some harassment.
