Very comfortable hotel right on the water with a wonderful staff and an excellent breakfast. Mai was great and took us on an interesting excursion. What a great experience.

Riverside boutique break
Nice room and cozy location. Quiet and peaceful in busy Bangkok Close to floating markets. A skytrain stop is about to open, which will bring the property close to all there is to see.

An incredibly special place! We feel so lucky to have found this gem. Each room is uniquely decorated and cleanly maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive. The included breakfast is delicious. Staying here means being immersed in a neighborhood far from the touristy areas of the city. We always felt very safe walking around the nearby streets, and were able to get a great sense of local life. Stay here; you will not regret it!

Siamotif is a beautiful, quiet oasis with wonderful hosts and a delicious home cooked breakfast every morning. Upon walking in, my dad and i were stunned at the beauty and charm and we loved the accents in the Indigo Room. We found it easy to use the nearby transportation and enjoyed coming back every night to the peacefulness. Thank you Mai, Moo, and team!

We were moved from one bad room to another and on our departure day we were beaten by pre-paid taxi fare and were sent off to the wrong airport. If you go here be prepared to be royally shafted.

Short but very sweet stay
What a hidden gem! We were there only overnight, unfortunately, and would have loved to enjoy it for longer. Tiny but gorgeous and unique rooms, fabulous setting on the canal in an untouristy area, warm and helpful service fro Mai and her staff, delicious breakfast. I hope to be back!

Loved our time at Siamotif. This hotel is boutique in every sense of the word. With less than 10 rooms and being a family run business, it feels more like a guest house. We loved the location as we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle and loved the canal views. Would love to go back again!

Beautifully maintained lovely traditional Thai bed and breakfast in a quiet residential neighborhood, hidden behind a temple. Felt very safe. Lots of local street food and 2 Seven Elevens on the nearby main road. Easy access to local market via Red Truck, or get around by taxi. Maii and her lovely staff are very helpful! Very clean, individualized rooms and delicious Thai breakfast every morning. Was the perfect setting for the first few nights of our honeymoon! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I absolutely loved this place! It’s so unique, right on the river and I love the staff! It’s a bit convoluted, but I quite liked that part. We felt special staying there - a true hidden gem. It’s an old Chinese house, and is very eclectic and clean. The breakfast is so unique and quaint and they accommodated for us being vegan as well. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Sitting on the balcony by the river with the wind and shade was my highlight - along with the staff lightly playing and singing guitar as background music. So relaxing and such an experience! The only very small thing I would mention was that the AC did not work well, but it was okay in the end if you give it time. We will definitely be back and stay longer next time! We appreciate all the kindness shown to us.

Siamotif was absolutely lovely! If you would like to have a true Thai experience, this is a beautiful way to experience the culture. This small (only 5 rooms!) hotel is right by the river and was utterly relaxing compared to the craziness that is Bangkok. I loved it! We even were treated to a nearby ceremony at a temple. The staff here are phenomenal and so kind. Enjoy! P.s. It was a little hard to sleep in here because of the river sounds but everything else made up for it!

The good: the staff were great, so friendly and helpful. The location was great, too. Just a quick 8 baht truck ride to the major river ferry system which takes you to major tourist areas. There was a nice breakfast each morning on the little river. Location is in a non tourist area, lots of street food just minutes away. We enjoyed walking around. The not so good: Booked an *overpriced* taxi to the airport after through them... (Taxi to the place 150 baht, taxi to airport 600). Not a huge deal for the convenience to have a taxi waiting in the early morning, I suppose. It was very loud from birds on the roof, boat motors, and a loud creaky metal dock. You can also hear staff and guests in the room loud and clear. (I used ear plugs and that didn't even help.) When it rained, the roof leaked a bit due to the old style architecture. Finally, it was very bright with no option to black out the windows. Overall, it was a great experience with a very difficult sleep. Would recommend for heavy sleepers. The staff and design makes the place! Thanks for a welcoming, charming stay.

Staying here you get a sense for the local life in a residential neighborhood and in a small uniquely styled hotel. Quaint and cozy, you won't get lost in it or feel like you could be anywhere in the world of standardised hotel rooms. Definitely a place for those looking for a true taste of Thai hospitality. The hotel is a charming oasis in bustling Bangkok, situated on the river and close to some nice markets to explore. Our room was filled with intricate wood furniture and colorfully painted shutters. The staff is so warm and welcoming, you feel comfortyand well cared for.

What a magical place. Our room was beautiful and clean and the staff was accommodating and very friendly. We loved every minute of staying there and I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family. I also loved that there were fat lounging cats on the office paperwork, felt like home.

Lovely respite in the city
This charming guest house was perfect for our time in Bangkok. I had the chance to tour several of the rooms and each room is uniquely and artfully decorated and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The large main area where breakfast is served is open to the outside with many plants giving it a lovely garden feel. I really enjoyed sipping a beer on the porch area overlooking the canal after a hot day of sightseeing, watching the boats go by. The best part of all was the incredibly wonderful and helpful staff and Mai, the owner. They served delicious traditional Thai breakfasts (included) and great dinners (very affordable) which was nice when we didn't feel like heading back out into the city. They suggested itineraries for our day, gave advice on the best transportation options and set up any arrangements we needed. It was so nice to have this personal service! Mai even gave us a Thai cooking class which was really fun (and provided Band-aids for my blistered foot!). This was truly one of the best lodging experiences I've had anywhere in the world and would highly recommend it!

A quirky room in a beautiful boutique hotel. Maii and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great watching Maii cook dinner one night and the next morning she rushed us off to a ceremony at a nearby temple - an amazing real (non touristy) experience. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Thai Welcome
This hotel is situated along Bangkok Noi channel and is just a beautiful little quaint place. The staff greeted us like family, were very helpful, and throughout our stay fed us well and made us feel comfortable. They helped us with our itinerary as Bangkok is a little challenging to get around. I can only say good things about this place! My husband and I enjoyed thoroughly! Great boutique hotel, initially we planned to stay in a quiet hotel with small balcony and river view, and we are glad that we made the right decision go for Siamotiff instead of those 4 or 5 stars commercial hotels. Although the location is not really close to any BTS, but trust me, u can easily get any Taxi, Grab or uber to anywhere in BKK or any nearest train station. We enjoyed everything in the hotel and the staffs are really friendly and helpful.

A real Bangkok experience
This former house is now turned into a little beautiful boutique hotel, that gives you a real glimpse of Bangkok. THe hotel is difficult to find, even the local taxi drivers have problem locating it, but once you know where it is, its really nice. It overlooks the Bangkok Noi (a tributary to the main Bangkok Chao Phraya river), where you can sit on your balcony and watch the busy waterway go past. The hotel owner (Mi) is really friendly offering loads of advice if asked, and she puts a lot of effort to make you welcome. The only downside I would comment on is the rooms are tight for space, and the early morning Longtail boats with their V12 engines are noisy, but the positives for this hotel outweigh the negatives. I would definitely return to this hotel if I visit Bangkok again.

Traditional and relaxing
This is an excellent run traditional house hotel. It's relaxing and peaceful and hard to believe it is in Bangkok. The staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was interesting, yummy and generous. Our room was stunning. Great decorations and well designed. We had a small room but it was comfortable. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

The Siamotif is a very nice hotel with lovely staff in a non-touristic area. The breakfast is delicious with a great variety and changes everyday. The rooms are very beautiful and clean. The only negative things to say is that it's quite noisy and our mattress was very hard for our European backs.

a perfect place for city hideaway
I find this riverside hotel is a perfect place to get away from Bangkok rush. Hotel is located in Bangkok Noi/Bangkhun non area and is truly local if you really want to experience life of Bangkokian. It was confused at first to find the hotel however, it was worth the walk! Siamotif is nicely decorated with wood and timber mix in contemporary style. The room we stay is on level 1 adjacent to the river equipped with a private and cozy balcony to enjoy watching riverboat with beer in our hands. Overall is exceptional. We definitely come back again and would like to recommend all travellers to explore this side of Bangkok.

A rosy place in the middle of old(poor) town
Beautiful residence itself but a bit away from the downtown (and foreigners can be easily cheated for taxi prices), in the middle of old(rather deprived) town; could be very nosy by boats going all day long over the canal in front of the hotel. Other than the poor location, the hotel itself has a beautifully decorated rooms (although a bit small), very comfortable common areas (except mosquito), and extremely kind staff. *To be fair, I have to admit that I didn't have time to explore the neighborhood, which the hotel owner said beautiful and peaceful for nature-liked minds.

Good signage helps to find this place when we arrived about 7pm. Nearly food shops and street food stalls are available till 10pm. Easy to go Grand Palace and tour spots using public transport. The owner and staff are sincere and friendly. They helped to book massage in a nearby new shop. Top quality thai breakfast and venue which is along the river. Cosy homestay to enjoy local experience. Love their cats. Wonderful!
