Wedgewood Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This was the second time I stayed there this year -I was happy the first time and very pleased this last time-I've been to London many times-When I go I don't want to feel like a tourist-like I live there, that's why, this a very nice place to stay. If you want a no frills ( I say that in the nicest way) You get a nice size room clean -in a quiet and safe neigborhood . The location is great your like a block or two from Bayswater -which has restaurants, markets and 2 tube stations -Your also close to Kensington Park and Palace( a great place to visit to see and be in history). You're about 10-15 minute walk to Paddington station -you can walk to Notting Hill ( nice walk on a nice day). When I book my next trip to London -this will be the first place I will go to, to book my trip-I want to thank everyone at the Wedgwood staff for both of my stays this year!!"

Grand Royale Hyde Park

8/10 Good

"This hotel is a grand old lady in need of some TLC. The public rooms are historic and impressive, but the carpet is worn and everything looks a little tired. The club rooms are small (think cruise ship cabin) but it is clear to see how much effort is put into amenities and service. The breakfast buffet is impressive and very busy, but the number one attribute is its location. Right next to Hyde Park, great restaurants nearby and close to the tube. Pretty much anything you would want to go to in this vibrant city is within three miles. The hotel has no parking and nearby public parking is very expensive, but I suspect most guests would be using the extensive public transportation or cabs. It is a very busy place and the staff work hard to meet the guests needs, always eager to help."

Mina Hotel by PLI

8/10 Good

"Comfortable decent size room, not very spacious but enough for a short stay, easy self check in and bathroom a good size. Location close to Paddington station, shops and restaurants nearby. My only negative point is that the towel provided is like a small hand/bathroom mat towel not a full size one suitable for showering. The staff were not very helpful, was told I would be brought a proper towel and heard nothing back from them despite sending messages. Eventually it was time for me to check out and leave the property anyway. Recommend to bring your own towel. also Google maps location of the hotel is wrong do not use this."

Bluedaws Private Hotel

8/10 Good

"This is a budget hotel. If you are willing to stay at a budget place, with a shared washroom, I'd highly recommend this place because it is so close to Paddington Station, and a quick walk through Hyde Park takes you to some of the major museums and pick-up spots for many of the tours that go out of London. The staff are lovely."
