"For location the hotel was perfect for us , but unfortunately the first room we were allocated smelt strongly of damp and we could just not stay in it . The second was much better and was adequately clean but there was no robes the towels were very small and hard "

"Upon arrival I was given a room without power…..seriously. They then wouldn’t move me because the hotel was fully booked - it really didn’t look like it. In the end I had to change hotel, and they have refused to refund. I usually go across the road to Central Park but this week it was slightly more expensive - I wish I had just stuck with them. Honestly, in 2026 - expecting a guest to have a room with no power, it beggars belief."

"Not worth your money, even as a budget hotel. The place is actively under restoration, covered with scaffolding and loud with construction activity all day long. Amenities like breakfast and the bar are unavailable due to the renovations and only one elevator is in operation. Our room had a dank, damp smell to it, with visible black mold in the bathroom. The toilet handle was loose and we weren’t given any soap in the bathroom and had to use the shower gel to wash our hands. We only booked it for its proximity to Paddington, but it was still a fifteen minute walk away. No real redeeming qualities or reasons to return. "

"The staff was so friendly and helpful during every interaction. The location of the hotel is convenient for getting on the tube and site seeing London. The room was clean and bright. We greatly enjoyed our stay there."
