"Superb location: near events but nestled in a classic residential neighborhood near parkways. Everything you need is inside this hotel. Excellent service and assistance from staff throughout my stay. The proximity to Hyde Park is what helped me select it."

"Whenever we stay in London we choose The Lancaster Gate Hotel. The rooms are traditionally decorated and although perhaps not the most modern or contemporary, they are always spotlessly clean. Check in was gast and efficient with friendly staff as always. I couldnt work out how to turm the heating on and asked at the reception - someone came immediaty and showed me how to do it and was so friendly. If I could make any improvement to put stay, a couple.of biscuits on the tea tray would have been nice, and the bed was a little too firm, however overall, another good stay here at The Lancaster Gate. The location is brilliant with Hyde Park and the underground station just a few minutes walk away. "

"Beautiful Victorian style building but with elevators! Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful with our luggages. Nice, quiet, upscale neighborhood yet convenient to tourist places-shopping, dining, transportation (Big Bus tour buses), Kensington Gardens, etc.Walkable distance to Paddington station & shops! Healthy breakfast menu is a plus!"
