"Wedgewood Hotel is a great hotel to stay at. The staff is super helpful. I accidently booked a hotel with no A/C so that was my fault but I tried to get an extra fan and only 1 per room so that sucked! The bathroom does need some attention. The floor tiles are cracked and the toilet seat moves! We managed but yes they need to fix some things. The bathroom is small but that's Europe! Very close to the main strip full of shops/restaurants! And very safe day or night. Close to Bayswater and Queensway tube station"

"I was very impressed with the Phoenix Hotel. I have stayed in a number of budget hotels in London and usually they are mostly in a pretty poor state, run down and dirty. I thought the Phoenix was very good value for money. The room was pleasant and clean, and there was a decent Continental breakfast with plenty of options included in the price. Good location too, within walking distance of Hyde Park, the V&A and the Natural History Museum. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others."

"The hotel rooms were good. Bed, pillows, bathroom, shower, etc... all good. Service at reception desk was friendly and attentive. Good price too. I had one problem with my room though. At 3am the A/C switched to HEAT and I woke up in a sweat. Then I tried to call for assistance and they picked up but couldn't hear me because the phone microphone didn't work. So I had to call on my cell. So I called on my cell and they said somebody would come take a look. But I spent 10 minutes trying to reprogram the thermostat back to Air conditioning. I was lucky and did it. But then the next day the same thing happened again. Really disappointing."
