"Fantastic hotel in every way! "

"Many areas were tatty. For example the bathroom (and its door) near the lobby haven't been painted in years. This is any easy fix so why? The hall between the bar and the lobby is missing many tiles. There is a large threadbare hole in the carpet. There is missing ceramic coating in the bathtub in many areas not just one ding. This property needs a facelift badly. The staff were terrific and the music in the lobby during cocktail hour was great. Great vibe but too worn in ways that should be easy fixes."

"Breakfast was undercooked eggs, but rest fine. Level 2 toilet not great, from dining area. Bedroom carpet requires upgrade. All other areas fine/good, room clean & fresh,"

"Hotel is having maintenance carried out so arguably shouldn't be open. No water in the afternoon, fire alarm activation in error at midnight (repeated 4 or 5 times before 1:00a.m.) and a wrongly allocated room at Check-In which meant I walked in on a woman made it a disappointing experience. Thankfully it was only one night. "
