This property is very unkempt and in very poor condition. You should not have it on your site. We stayed one night instead of the two we had booked. The staff were great and the room though old was clean. The bathroom was disgusting. The grounds were a mess. It is a shame as could be a good hotel

This place is a little bit lost in time, and an overall lonely feeling about it I think we might have been the only guests there. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating though.

Sadly run down
A hotel needing maintenance with excellent staff. Sadly at end of life. Grounds are poorly maintained, grass not cut. Would I recommend to a friend? A qualified yes The location is excellent but if you wish pristine surroundings the there are other cheaper hotels nearby that should consider

Sadly at end of life
This Hotel is in a great location, probably as good as Lovina can offer. The Hotel staff are excellent and do everything they can to ensure a pleasant stay. The pool is pleasant. Unfortunately the hotel has been neglected and is run down. Would I recommend it to a friend? Well I did stay a second time, but if you are one to want a pristine experience there are other hotels nearby that could be better suited to you.

Price-Performance Ratio very attractive
The best impression is the Reception Staff. Checking in and out is very fast and easy. The location is very strategically and front beach is nice and clean. Internet was available but little slow.Pool water was milky and don't attract for a jump in the pool. Could be a very nice Hotel but presently more Hostel category would need a overall renovation/lift up. But since it is very price worthy we have still enjoyed our stay with good Breakfast and can recommend this as a good budget solution for a short or even for a longer stay. If again in that area, We guess to stay again in this place.

Extremely run down, leaking aircon, toilet not flushing so had to move rooms. Limited breakfast. Dangerous balcony with sign saying don't lean on ballastrading. Putu was a wonderful staff member! Won't be going back!!

Great location. Right on beach and two minute walk to local shops, restaurants and little Lovita vendors who are great to talk to and buy touristy stuff. Hotel older and rooms could use facelift but staff are great and eager to help and pool beautiful.

Beach front cottages
We loved this place. It is an older place on the beach under a canopy of trees, tho with some minor maintenance issues, but overall it is fabulous location with an incredible staff. Lovely, clean pool. The grounds are continually groomed, the daily housekeeping reliable, breakfasts are very good. Loads of really good restaurants in easy walking distance, and lots of tours throughout the area to interest almost every interest. This particular beach location does include some local sellers who do sell rather aggressively. Really can be annoying, but this is not a detraction from the resort itself. Putu, the day person on reception and restaurant as well as anything else needed doing, was fabulously helpful, kind and professional. So too were Linda in housekeeping and Chanyase in laundry. We have found it is the people who help you enjoy to the fullest an experience in a foreign country and of its culture - frequently so different from our own. The last thing, tho, is that the Lovina Beach is not really walk-able on the surf line. The locals tie their boats with line onto the trees at the far side of the sand, and so you must continually climb over lines and climb around the boats. Just a thought.

IF you are on a really tight budget this property might suit. It does have hot water, a fridge, a nice pool, is right on the beach and a few minutes walk from the centre. It does not have a lot of the amenities listed in their ad on your website. Bedding is poor, our mattress had a big water stain, no rainforest shower head, towels so thin you could almost see through them, only soap supplied, dreadful sun bed squabs etc. etc. we had to pay to upgrade to get a reasonable room. However, the staff are exceptionally helpful. I would not recommend to anyone.

The. Hotel is 25 yes old and has had no updates. Very few guests so you get the pool to yourself. It would benefit by having mozzie nets in the room.

This hotel is really wonderful, the view is really make me falling in love.. I feel so peace and relax. I got the best room, the room is decorated with bali culture also have hot water. When the housekeeping cleaned our room always put some flower in my bed. I very enjoy with the dolphin tour in the morning, around a half past five. And then the music in the restaurant is so classic,the security is stand by for 24 hour, and he is really helpful. Thank you for the staff (Akhin) give us so much information about Lovina Beach. I will come again next years and I hope everything will be same right now.

Although not altogether modern, the hotel had a great atmosphere with a good pool and direct access to the beach. Only a short walk to the Dolphin statue.

DO NOT STAY HERE
First and most importantly, my bed had bed bugs. My room was DISGUSTING in every way possible. Paint was peeling, ceiling stained gray and brown, the main light was a single lightbulb on the ceiling, etc. The bathroom especially. It was oozing with grime and dirt that looked like it had been accumulating for years. Brown and gray streaks decorated the walls. The toilet looked worse than what you would find in a port-a-potty. I wore flip flops in the shower because it was so scary. The grounds are pretty well maintained actually and make the place look kind of normal until you get inside. And I stayed in a superior room, mind you. I have no idea what could possible be considered superior about it, and I shudder to think what a standard room would look like. The only thing they get props for is their front desk girl, who was very nice and helpful. But I've stayed in other places in Bali for the same price or even just $5 more a night that were 100 times better...not worth saving a few bucks for! The beach it is on is gross and not only not swimable but not even worth hanging out on. The breakfast was so disgusting that I literally couldn't eat it. My second day I actually went and paid for breakfast elsewhere. I would skip Lovina all together. For a beach on the north coast, go to Pemuteran!

Basic but attentive
Have been to Bali 6 times now and stayed from 5 star to budget. This was one of my favourite places. The accommodation is quite typical of Bali and older accommodation nothing ages well in such a hot and damp climate but the rooms were clean and staff attentive. There was always fresh flowers on the bed and staff sweeping paths etc. location was great but impossible to get taxi at night.

Only basic room facility. The room with ocean view is very smelly. Neighbourhood is good. Far away from good snorkeling. Hotel over charge food and other service. There are few nice hotels nearby. If you did not have any information about that, just go there without booking then you will find a very nice, clean, and inexpensive hotel.

This place has it's charm, and could be a really nice place to stay if the owners put in a little more effort. Sadly, they didn't seem to care. My wife called it "rustic" but I think that's being nice. This hotel is zero frills. (i.e. no coffee makers in the rooms). The rooms need an upgrade. The hot water didn't work properly in the two rooms we stayed in. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Which is understandable - it's a budget hotel. But unfortunately it applies to the service as well When we asked for extra towels, the staff acted like it was a hassled. When I asked for an umbrella, they pointed me a stand full of broken ones. Seriously, who keeps 5 non-functioning umbrellas sitting around? The pool was decent but the beach just outside the hotel was full of debris and trash and could easily have been cleaned each morning by the staff, but they seemed largely unhappy and unmotivated. A true sign of mismanagement. The restaurant is awful. The free breakfast was barely edible. The coffee was gritty. You get the picture. We won't be back. Not even if it was free.

Over-all I had a nice stay at the cottages for the 3 days, 2 nights I was there. The location was great, pool was awesome , grounds nice and unit comfortable enough. I thought the breakfast was very sparse and limited, the rooms need more small lights so one can read, better chairs on the deck to sit and relax in ( rather than a small tool) and more towels ( one small towel does not get a north american male dry !!!!!). Also the beach was disappointing as was murky water with alot of trash in water and on beach - that part was disappointing. Maybe in high season ( June to August) the water is better, as is beach.

Affordable stay at Lovina
The Bali Lovina Cottages were a good deal for the price we got (a discounted price on Agoda) I would not have been happy if I had paid the full price. The place is a little run down, but cute. They allow vendors to stand on the beach side and hassle all visitors (many hotels don't let them camp there). The breakfast and welcome juice were so awful, we never risked eating there.

Chambres très vieillottes, très rudimentaires au niveau des équipements (frigo cassé avec une odeur épouvantable, salle de bain très sale, serviettes à l'aspect et l'odeur douteux, etc). Leau de la piscine était trouble. Panne d'électricité en soirée... Hôtel à fuire et déconseillé par des habitants de Lovina eux-mêmes !

Platwalsen en opnieuw opbouwen. Huisjes met inhoud (water in douche liep niet weg) zwembad, restaurant, terrassen om zwembad, terras aan zee in vieze en slechte staat. Tafelkleden op tafeltjes waren te vies om aan te raken, zijn daarom verderop ontbijt gaan nuttigen.

Inget jag skulle rekommendera någon. Fick två rum utan varmvatten. Riktigt eftersatt ställe. Synd för läget var jätte bra. Nära havet och restauranger. Fick byta rum efter vi sagt till och där fanns det varmvatten. Men tyvärr lika eftersatt. Trevliga ungdomar som jobbade där. Sunkig pool.
