"Had many stays in this hotel ,staff excellent in club room ,needed a Hospital, Samantha was excellent .Charlie once again always a pleasure to be served by him,George & Icarus always on hand to look after us .We cannot rate highly enough the service we receive from all staff ,thank you all so much ,Kaye & Kevin Perth WA ."

"The hotel is great but when we were checking in, the reserved room was not available and I had to switch rooms. I specifically wanted to have the room with the view as I was staying only for one night in Shanghai. The staff was very nice trying to offer an upgraded room but without a view. However, it was a bit disappointing. I ended up paying more for another room with he river view and asked for two additional beds to put my kids to sleep as it was a just a King size bed room. First they said ok, and then they brought just one bed. So again, it was a bit disappointing and lack of communication. As it was just one night it was not super inconvenient. 3 of us had to sleep in one bed and we had an amazing view but overall impression was not so satisfying."

"5th visit here. Centre of town, by people’s sq and a 1.5 mile walk straight down pedestrian road to the bund. Tube which is really easy and cheap ($0.4 a ride) is here heading to both airports and many other destinations. Room was superb with supper comfortable bathroom and picture window overlook the city. Great"
