In fact I was expecting something a bit more old fashioned after looking on the Expedia listing. Overall a very nice time with a beautiful view of Lake Toya wherever you go! "

"The hotel is at the beginning of the town. It is across from the bus terminal to get to the station or Date Jidaimura. It's actually a 5 min walk to a 7-11 but can't tell from there. The workers will always willing to help with calling cabs. Compassionate when I had my 10 yr old daughter and they let me add her to my reservation for around 5000 yen with my 12 yr old son and did NOT charge us 17000 yen like a nearby hotel did. Enjoyed the onsen. Iron, salt, sulfur, etc baths. I love the outside one."
