"It’s a functional hotel if you need a bed before an early flight from Heathrow T5. I tend to arrive via the Elizabeth Line and the instructions on how to get to the hotel from T5 aren’t obvious. Drop down to floor two and look for Pod Parking. Use the free pod to goto the car park, from there it’s a five minute walk to the hotel. You’ll arrive at a locked gate mid way, press the call button and the gate will be unlocked. Since my last visit, the reception staff have been replaced with self service screens. They’re functional but not a great experience to use. Slow response from the keyboard being the main gripe. Food in the hotel bar is fine and watching the planes land on the terrace outside the bar never gets old. So in summary, it’s a tired old hotel which is functional. And lastly, it does not have a lift."

"Dinner in the garden restaurant was very good. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. I asked for the curry to be hotter than normal and when it arrived I couldn't eat it! They replaced it free of charge. Thanks for a very good dinner."
