Hakone Kowakien TEN-YU

Hakone Kowakien TEN-YU

10/10 Excellent
"The Hakone Ten-Yu is an amazing hotel the has everything you need for total relaxation whilst also enjoying the luxury of a top rated hotel. The hotel has a policy of making sure you are at the centre of itโ€™s operation and obliviously prides itself on first class service form to moment you arrive at the local station (you get picked up in a courtesy bus) to the moment you leave. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by the staff and ushered in to a seat whilst we were checked in. All the information was provided and we were shown to our beautiful rooms with traditional furniture and lovely views of the valley. The room also had a great view of sunrise, as the faced eastwards. The staff were amazing. Nothing was any trouble. So polite and professional. The highlight however was the 6 course dinner that was just impeccable. Some of the best food Iโ€™ve eaten for a while. This hotel is very special and would highly recommended. 5 stars (โ€ฆ.& more if that was possible)"

SOTETSU HOTELS THE SPLAISIR YOKOHAMA

10/10 Excellent
"I don't want to leave a positive review because I want to keep this hotel a secret! This was my third stay, and I still can't find any faults with this place. The room is always immaculately clean and well soundproofed. The only downside is that the area is not particularly nice, with some red-light district areas on the street. Just avoid walking at ground level. As long as you use the first-floor walkway from the station/shopping complex you won't see them much."
