Nothing say about the property everything was to our expectations.
disney hotels are always always magical. i love the mickey mouse shaped pancakes at the buffet breakfast!!!!
Very good experience in the disney hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly, room is clean, we love the swimming pool!! :)
Friendly staff willing to go the extra mile. Noticeable was the lack of expectation for tips !
The stay was good. Since Ma-Wan is out of main city, there is advantages of quiet and peaceful locality with beach next door. On the downside, you are almost 1 hour away from central and shipping places. Altogether for people who want to experience peace in Hong Kong, this is a place.
This is a nice place for short stay. The staff of Solar Tower Camp are nice and helpful.
Daily cleaning, was able to provide extra pillow but was not able to provide 4 mugs as we booked a family of 4.
Cleanliness to be improved but the budget room charge is great.
The room is VERY SMALL! The internet was a little spotty, but that was understandable because there were mountains on 3 sides and water in the other. The restaurant is only available for breakfast. There was a 5 to 7 minute walk from the taxi stand to the hotel, but that was understandable because ...
Any trip to Hong Kong wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Hong Kong Disneyland, and for many, meeting their favourite Disney characters is the sole purpose of their visit. Located in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong Disneyland opened in 2005 and it’s a huge affair covering close to 50 hectares. The theme park receives around 8 to 9 million visitors every year and the park management have done a good job of blending aspects of Chinese culture and tradition with the Disney experience – the site itself was designed following the strict rules of Feng Shui. Obviously, the park’s main attraction is its world-class rides and some of the most popular include ‘Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters’, ‘Big Grizzly Mountain Coaster’, ‘Main Street Haunted Hotel’ and the ‘Jungle River Cruise’.
For those looking to visit Hong Kong Disneyland, the island’s excellent MTR system takes around 30 minutes direct from Kowloon and Hong Kong stations, and around the same time from the airport station (including a transfer at Tsing Yi Station). The MRT runs until late, making visiting the park very convenient, but it is equally accessible by taxi or bus. For those who want to drive themselves, Hong Kong Disneyland caters for around 1,000 vehicles, so parking isn’t a problem.

Hong Kong Disneyland has its own resort, a five-star property with a choice of rooms and suites, many onsite dining options, pools, a maze and a shuttle service to the theme park. However, with good MRT connections, visitors don’t need to stay in the park’s vicinity. Hong Kong has an excellent selection of accommodation options, ranging from more modest hotels for the budget traveller, right up to five-star luxury outlets that also cater to those in Hong Kong on business.
The bulk of the hotels near Hong Kong Disneyland are in the four-star and five-star categories and offera choice of rooms with amenities like free Wi-fi and cable TV, as well as onsite restaurants and bars, swimming pools (both indoor pool and outdoor) plus fitness centres/spas. Many of the hotels near Hong Kong Disneyland operate shuttles to the theme park.
