Booked the Marriott because of the swimming pools and proximity to MTR. Ocean Park and the MTR are literally next door to the hotel, and it is only one stop to Admiralty, which is very convenient for interchanges. The room was lovely and the pools very quiet - the kids loved it. Would definitely consider staying there again. So comfortable and luxurious. Also recommend Water World which is a shuttle bus ride away!

The room is nice but the towels are smelly and seem old. We were often provided towels with holes and yellowish colour. It’s off-putting. The escalator towards MTR station was also often not working.

It’s right next to the ocean park sea aquarium and amusement park. Breakfast is good. Downside not many local food choices around the area.

Excellent location right next to the Ocean Park. Nice size rooms with a great design features and all the amenities such as Nespresso coffee machine and super plush bath robe. But the best part was the extra deep bathtub which kids absolutely loved soaking in after a day at the park.

Never found a Western style Restaurant with non-chinese food. The location is good if you know how to use the MTR. Noisy OTIS elevators are a surprise. They make also silent ones. Actually when you expect the elevator to go up it first drops before going up. Very uncomfortable feeling. All light switches are dark brown and have dark grey writing on it. Nobody can read it.

The property was beautiful, well maintained, very green and lovely. However, the food options were poor. The 'cafe' offered breakfast at $30 per person and up! The other restaurants were much higher priced than that! This hotel was connected with Ocean Park and the MTR (underground train), but nothing else without a lengthy ride. Very poor pricing for a larger family.

Marriott Hotel Ocean Park is near to Ocean Park MTR station but not many eateries nearby so need to travel one station down to Admiralty MTR station for more food options.

Staff are excellent, from bell boy, concierge, reception, house keeping, common area cleaning etc; lots of Cantonese speaking staff creates stronger home sense since Cantonese is our mother tongue. Very thoughtful plants choices in the garden, they appear to have the natural ingredients that repel mosquitos. Breakfast buffet is tasty with lots of variety, would be better if dining period is a bit longer, currently only 90 min per time slot. Complimentary bottle waters and snack are great. The 3 levels tall Aquarium located in front entrance plus room view of the Ocean Park are stunning. The swimming pools and kids indoor/outdoor activities creat a family friendly environment! My kids have already requested to come back here next time. Areas of improvement: 1) automatic doors are needed in hotel entrance & accesses between buildings, difficult to open heavy doors with luggages and small children. 2) more hooks in hotel room for hanging stuff. 3) coin laundry and dryer machines would be appreciated. 4) more towels are needed as we only had 2 sets of towels for family of 4. 5) lunch & dinner buffet are too pricy.

1. Pier restaurant messed up my bread order and quite a few staffs were not fluent in Cantonese. 2. I left my card key in my room, and front desk assistant told me it was required to check out with my card key and she would issue a new card key for me to take my old card key from my room. 🤔 honestly, I have been to hundreds of hotel and never had same experience that I must have my card key to check out. And telling me to use a new issue card key to walk all the way back and bring my old card key just sound very dumb. I refused and demanded to speak to the front desk staff behind the counter and check out process just went well.

Clean property
It is a nice property. But the location is not close to any food joints. Have to take an MTR ride to get a cup of coffee. I hope there is a 'Grab & Go' F & B outlet. There are only sit-down restaurants or room service.

MARRIOT branding never disappoint us. Clean room and friendly staffs. Take note of Ocean park opening days as there are some days which the park is closed. Nothing near hotel, suggest to travel via mtr to Central or Admiralty for more activites
