Loved loved loved this resort. Amazing infinity pool. The views are tranquil and serene. Our room view was postcard perfect. Snorkelling off the beach was so easy and great ti do everyday. We had lunch by the pool on our last day and it tasted terrific. Staff are friendly and helpful with great English. The only negative was our Villa did not have air-conditioning in the lounge/kitchen area and was hard to relax on lounge as ut was so hot. The bed for us was very hard so we would just bring topper next time from Australia. Highly recommended this resort as clean peaceful and tranquil. Will return to Amed and definitely stay at Puri Wirata Resort Thank you for a restful visit x

The location is well away from the main part of Amed but there are good beaches nearby. The room wasn't what we expected, discribed as a villa it was basic room. On check out we lost a bag of clothes, on calling the hotel they was not helpful. Apparently no CCTV and they have many off duty staff hanging around public area chatting and smoking.

Hello David Thank you for staying with us at Puri Wirata. We are sorry you lost your bag, but saying we were not helpful, is not correct. We checked several times, checked your room and the 10m from the room to the parking. We put the bags from your room in the car. We looked again and again after you sent us messages telling us a bad review was coming if we didn’t find the bag. It’s a bit of a cheap shot to say we weren’t helpful. Yes we don’t have CCTV. Yes, when our staff is finished with their tasks, they like to sit together, it’s what Balinese people do. The room you booked has pictures online when you booked, claiming it’s not what you expected, isn’t fair when we don’t try to deceive anyone with the pics and room description. I understand you are disappointed about losing a bag of clothes, but it does not mean you have to point the finger at us when we did everything we could to find it. We can’t find what’s not there.

We had a wonderful stay at Puri Wirata. Amazing location on the beach. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The dive shop was really good too. We used equipment for snorkeling all week and went on a two tank dive with them as well. My wife utilized the spa and had a good experience too!

The property is very quiet and relaxing and the food quite good. The only down side for me was a rocky beach but that was to be expected. Staff are lovely rooms spacious and bathrooms clean and lovely . Breakfast is excellent.

Worth the trip!
The property is beautiful and the staff is incredibly accommodating. Prepare for a long haul to get there but it is unique and worth the drive.

The property was right on the ocean but not really a sit out by the ocean kind of spot unless you sit on the pool dech which i give them was not too bad and the pool was relatively well maintained. There was some green growing but ledd than the last hotel we stayed at. outside the property is very rocky and short distance to ocean. The staff was very helpful and very nice. But the facilities seem sort of old. The bed creeked just by sitting on it (I am not super skinny but i am not a large person either). The a/c unit took a long time to cool the room as well. The room was cleaned well though which made me very happy. Its also not close to other stores, not many restaurants and markets nearby for walking to.

I had a great stay at the Puri Wirata. Took a scuba course there. The room was large and clean. Bed comfortable. Climate control was fine. Staff was amazingly friendly. Lots of peace and quiet around there. I'd stay there again!

Enjoyable stay!
Our stay was very comfortable. Beautiful big Villa. Beautiful pools. Great massages, with very friendly staff! Our driver was very helpful and accommodating . Our biggest complaint would be the food at restaurant. It was average in taste but found a fly in my salad one day. Dive center was great! Great dive team. One of our dive masters fought off a Trigger fish, defending it’s reef, protecting us. Quite a memorable experience ! Nice, easy dives a few minutes from the resort. An enjoyable stay!

Beautiful resort right on the water, friendly staff and yummy food. Be advised it is situated on a hillside so lots of steps and steep driveway, so it may not be good for people who have mobility issues.

RECOMMENDED FOR YOUR STAY IN AMED
Deluxe rooms are spacious with excellent sea vies and comfortable bed. Resort is waterfront with 2 good pools, one is 3m deep for diver training. Good snorkeling right off the beach in front of the resort. Attached dive shop is professional with good diving in the local area. Staff friendly and eager to please, restaurant is quite good and prices reasonable for a resort. The resort is distant from Amed itself however is only a 10 minute walk to a village with a supermarket and a couple of ATM's and some shops and places to eat. I have been to this resort before and will come again

It’s very quiet and a scooter ride away from town. There are 2 pools neither of which is crowded and shade is available. There is a dive shop right at the top of the driveway with gear so you can snorkel right from the hotel. Clean, friendly staff, AC that works, a safe that works. I would definitely stay here again

We stayed for 9 days. This is a great hotel and probably one of the best in Amed. Having said that, it is looking slightly tired and could do with a little tlc. The staff are brilliant and so very friendly. The food was good, but there was no change in the one, fairly limited, menu which was the same for lunch and evening and no daily “specials” to opt for, which left us a bit stuck as we would have liked a change. However, this is fantastic value for money and we would return should we visit Bali again.

Понравилось всё - отличный риф рядом, доброжелательный персонал, хорошие плотные завтраки, великолепными закатами на фоне Агунга можно наслаждаться на "вью поинте" в соседнем Джемелюке. Лишь одно немного расстраивало - это не очень развитый посёлок, хотя и здесь удавалось и вкусно и не дорого поесть, снять наличные в банкомате и купить бутылочку Бинтанга. Вобщем отель рекомендуем исходя из соотношения цены и качества.

Great bargain, great dive center
Came to Amed to dive. Had a great experience diving. Lots of guests there taking dive courses. Dive center was excellent. Hotel is perfect for divers. Not sure if non-divers would find much to do. Snorkeling is good, spa is nice but there’s not much else nearby. Entering the water to snorkel (or scuba) is a challenge give the “sand” is medium size rocks that move around (balancing and dealing with the pain of rocks hitting you feet in tender places...) but the snorkeling is very good and the scuba sites are awesome. Staff at hotel were incredibly nice. We had the larger master suite room which was nice but only had AC in bedroom. Bathroom was very basic but in a dive resort... you’re rarely in your room. Don’t expect 4* facilities and you’ll be pleasantly surprised with what they do offer! We’d go again.

You’ll never get bored lying on a sunbed by the pools and looking at the azure sea of Amed. Wifi is a bit patchy but maybe it’s like that in the whole neighborhood. Great holiday place, slightly inconvenient if you need to get some work done. Good restaurants in beautiful settings nearby, and a great dive shop.

Great choice for divers and snorkelers
Clean, great location on the beach with on-foot access to the corals, very friendly staff, high quality SPA with a view to the sea, other popular beaches for snorkeling and diving within 10 minutes reach by scooter. Highly recommend for snorkelers and divers.

Hello Stuart, sorry to hear that you didn't like your stay with us. It surprises me to read that you disliked dealing with the management, especially since I wasn't in Amed when you stayed with us. I am not sure what has happened, I have asked the staff and they couldn't tell me much also, so if you contact me directly and let me know what happened with 'management' during your stay, I'd be happy to hear it. Now very run down is probably not very accurate. We did have some renovations going on during your stay in a different building. And the room you stayed in had been renovated 2 years ago, so run down seems a bit exaggerated, but people have different perceptions of course. Friendly staff and great view to the beach. The resort is not centrally located and this made it difficult to get from place to place unless you're good to ride a scooter. Food and rooms were standard but nothing flash. I'm this area comes alive during peak season (June /July ) :)

We enjoyed our stay in Puri Wirata! Rooms are a little bit old (design) but the bed is confortable and the balcony with the view on the sea was really plaisant! Plus the diving center working with them is really professional and nice, will recommand!

Great hotel and dive company. Very good value and reasonable associated restaurant. The associated dive shop was very flexible with our requests and had excellent diving in the area. It was amazing to be able to relax at one of the pools between some of the dives! They were also very helpful with arranging local activities etc

Nice hotel near the beach
This hotel was perfect for my wife and I. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. We had an amazing panoramic view of the ocean. The dive shop here was amazing and we had some excellent diving trips for very affordable prices. The food was good and the service was excellent. We especially enjoyed being able to rent motor scooters for $5 a day to cruise around the coastal road of Amed. I would highly recommend this resort for others and would come back to stay here again in a heartbeat

beautiful and quaint, excellent staff
The staff really made our vacation, they were always accommodating and friendly. The rooms could use a little updating but were clean and beds were comfortable. The view is incredible and the 2 pools provide plenty of sunbathing opportunities. The restaurant was fine, food was fresh and each dish was very good. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the resort for all the diving and snorkeling enthusiast. The ocean in front of the hotel offered some of the best snorkeling/diving opportunities around.

Lovely, friendly hotel with excellent dive shop
We loved staying at Puri Wirata - the staff, the onsite pool and restaurant, the diving - it was all absolutely lovely and incredible value for money. We would recommend this hotel if you fancy diving and chilling out in a peaceful beautiful setting outside town.

The grounds could stand for a little more cleaning, but during the rainy season I understand it's going to be harder. The location was excellent right on the beach, very close to some great snorkeling, and close to good restaurants. The room was great and the staff was friendly, although I often needed to interrupt their use of their mobile phones to get their attention.

Good hotel that could do with a few more supplies.
Good hotel with staff who have limited English. Rooms are big and clean and prices are reasonable. Air conditioning way too cold, unable to adjust and no blankets available when we inquired. Beds are made up with sheet and sarong only. So you either freeze or sleep in a warm stuffy room. We had 6 rooms and we each had the same problem. Only other problem was there never seemed to be any pool towels, so if you get one make sure you hang on to it and dry it over night in the freezing room.

East Bali gem
We wanted to check out a new area of Bali and chose Puri Wirata for our three days stay. We loved everything about the resort - nice spacious and clean rooms, beautiful pools, great restaurant, and really nice hotel staff. We also did a day of diving with Bali Reef Divers and really had a fantastic time. Snorkeling right in front of the resort was also nice. Overall - a little oasis of calm in a rather busy area - it is a bit far from Amed so a car is best if you want to leave the resort. But we found it offered everything we needed and their food was not only delicious but very affordable. Highly recommended!

Scenic, relaxing and enjoyable
We stayed in a superior villa with a beautiful ocean view. We booked with the intention to relax and to dive. The scuba diving was amazing! The underwater life is vibrant and flourishing. There are two pools, clean and literally right on the ocean. The room was basic but we spent a lot of time in it and enjoyed the movie channels.

Great Spot for the Price
Puri was a very cute little hotel just on the outskirts of town, but easily accessible via motorbike. Their dive school on site was awesome-ask for Anthony, he was great!! Puri has two lovely pools and very accommodating and professional staff. The room was clean, comfortable and had a nice view, but as previous reviews have stated, there is a bit of a smell in the bathroom. Regardless, great stay for the price! Restaurant on site was good. To note, wifi only works in the restaurant. Overall very happy with our stay!!

Well maintained resort in a scenic location
Puri Wirata is a beautiful resort perched on the edge of the Amed coast. Although quite remote (Amed is fairly isolated) the resort provides everything needed from stunning pools to very good food and well maintained rooms. I felt safe and confortable (travelling on my own) and enjoyed meals in the restaurant overlooking the beautiful gardens and swimming pool. The staff were excellent and happy to assist with anything required. I found the resort to be very good value for both accommodation and food costs and would certainly recommend it for anyone travelling to the Amed coast.

Great little getaway
We loved this hotel and area. we booked our room about 3-4 months before we got there for christmas holidays. We spend 4 nights in a ocean view room. The hotel is right on the beach with a reef for snorkeling at your door step. We couldn't have been happier with our room - 180 degree ocean views, a day bed and large balcony/terrace for hanging out and enjoying the view. There is no room service or pool bar, but there is everything you need for a great diving or snorkelling holiday. Scooter hire is available and feels quite safe on these slow and quiet roads. It is also cheap. This hotel is excellent value for Bali, and a great change from the busy Kuta area. its also more of a local feeling and the locals are very kind. Do yourself a favour and get out of Kuta area, it is worth it if you want to experience a more authentic taste of Bali and it's beauty. Stay in Kuta if you want aussies, drinking and clubs. Come here for peace, quiet and snorkeling.

Nice hotel overall and good value for money. We had villa with nice balcony and sea view (although shared balcony with next villa).Very quiet location but that is to be expected in Amed area at low season. Locals lovely and friendly and nice to be away from hustle and bustle. Hotel had lovely outdoor area and close to good snorkelling spots. Food ok at hotel but nothing fantastic (again may be due to season - not many guest may have impacted), although some decent food in local warungs. Staff were nice enough and generally helpful.
